I think after what he endured in ep. 13 to protect her, he deserves to know the truth. As far as she knows, he respected her as a warrior. Also, her clinging for dear life to her companion pet is really a dead giveaway. At this point, why continue to lie to him. The rock already called you out too.

But this is what I mean when I say I don't like hidden identity tropes that much. It fine if it's not overdone against ppl who should be told the truth.

Anyway, I'm loving the series and looking forward to more. They both should come clean about their feelings. As they've both been lying to each other. she was using him the whole time and having the nerve to be mad at him for using hee. Though, her using him is more problematic because she came into his life under false pretenses. Not the other way around. She had her reasons, but still.

When her identity was almost exposed, she had nothing to defend herself with. Like a deer caught in headlights. Everyone else came to her rescue.

I'm only on ep. 12, but something tells me that her brother, the other prince who is jealous of her is the one who originally poisoned her before the tournament.

Ahhh, not for the "better" reason. I bet it's because someone is used as a weapon, like if you don't leave him, I'll kill him. *Sigh*. Okay, I'm prepared. Thank you.

Tell me, I need to know... They don't break up at all, do they? I'm hoping they just get stronger as a couple as it goes on.

I'm on ep. 8 and already see him crossing lines. Like sir! Sir, what do you think you're doing pulling her away from her man?

I know. I'm only on ep. 8 but I'm having the time of my life. So happy I waited to start this so I can binge.

The wardrobe and set design has been on point. Beautiful costumes.

Ep. 8 the way I've been cackling and grinning at this screen while watching this. I love the characters. I love the way magic is used. I love the world they live in. I love her silly antics. I love how they are slowly moving closer to real love and respect for each other. I love how she is fierce loyal to protecting him, even when she says it's to protect herself --which is also true. But it plays out so well.

This one is shaping up to be one of my top all time favs.

They do it all of the time. It gets annoying. And sometimes when they do it, they either have the hostage figure out how to defend themselves.. which I expected this FL to do. Or they'll have the hostage commit suicide as to not be used against the other character. Or they will have the other character submit to the villains terms.

This happened in Shadow Love in a situation where a highly skilled female warrior was taken hostage, knife to throat. And it made no sense to me how it ended considering what she was capable of.

That was the excuse they gave. That she wants to stay around familiar ppl, but even that doesn't make sense when those ppl are trying to kill you. She already knows who they are and her supposed relationship with each of them.

She's getting dumber the longer she stays there and really depending on luck and the cop to save her. Like it was the cop who revealed who pushed the mom down the stairs. It was luck that saved her from the DNA test, not her own craftiness. And the fact that she was worried about the results proves that she knows she's not this woman.

So, staying there will not help her remember who she is if the purpose is to surround yourself with familiar settings. She needs to go to her real home and see photos of her real family.

She could kill her husband, get his shares, and not even have to be in the same house. She had no problem killing ppl before.

If I was her, I would have been killed off that family. She's completely justified in doing so too, because not a day goes by when someone isn't trying to kill her first.

I wouldn't even be living there. She can try to find out who she is in an environment that isn't toxic and dangerous. They bully her all day and she's succumbed to a lot of it. That's how they managed to trick her and steal her blood.

And the cop isn't around her , but he always shows up to save her. 😂

Okay, I'll learn more as the story goes. I'm on ep. 2 now and he just sent her away which opened the door for that Lord to try to force his spies on him. I love scheming like that. 😂.

They really were. The whole kingdom is probably better off being done with that line.

It looked like one of his moves during the fight. And if is not one of his abilities, what makes her master think he has the antidote? If anyone can create that poison, then shouldn't more than one person have the antidote? Now, if it's one of his abilities, it makes sense that the person who can conjure it may also be the same person who can cure it. Perhaps that how he got the power while in prison. Because it was mentioned that he got the ability and that's why he was allowed to fight.

OMG, his sister was a hot mess.

That makes him a very dangerous opponent. He is supposed to use his best weapon in a battle. He didn't kill his opponent when he could have.

This works for me. Thank you. Yeah, she was poisoned, which makes him a dangerous opponent because his own abilities have the power to give or take away someone else's power and eventually kill them. But I don't think he knows about this ... I could be wrong though. On ep. 2.

I'm sure I will. As long as the characters are smart, the action is fun, the romance is spicy and adorable and the villains are dastardly. I'm happy. And if they throw him and/or her some obsessed admires stalking and scheming... Chef's kiss.

I'm rarely interested in the SL characters and their blossoming relationships. I tend to skip some scenes that take me away from what I want.
