Ugh, ep 4 introduces not 1, not 2, but 3 annoying kids into the story with rude attitudes and ungrateful, prideful behaviors. I hope not too much time is spent on them.

I agree. It's like he knows his son can overcome, but also hates when his son uses that ability against him. 😂

I've been waiting for this one for months. I KNEW I was going to love the MC. Their rough ass foreplay. 😂

Yeah, I'm sick of it. It actually takes away some of my joy in watching these dramas.

Now, her mom has it coming too. I would totally marry her son to get back at her, but that is only if I already know who she is. But I'd be good to her son, while hating on her.
At this point in the story, she doesn't know who the woman is. She's just using that family to fulfill her fantasy of being rich and famous. And what makes her stupid is she's not really trying to imagine what will happen if she can't live this life. But it was interesting how quick she changed her tune when her father was threatened.

But later when she knows, as the synopsis states, I wonder then how she will use that woman's son to get back at her. Because he still doesn't deserve to be mistreated.

I guess she said I'll steal your designs and you can steal my life. Fair trade. 😂 This goofy ass conniving woman doesn't know whether she's coming or going.

She is definitely one of several villains of the story. Selfish, greedy and feeling like the world owes her something. Now, her "friend" isn't her friend and deserves her vengeance. But the fiance doesn't deserve to be used.

Imma need China to start feeding their horses. I'm sick and tired of looking at rib bones, hip bones, knobby knees, and dull coats.

This is a good example of why you don't let ppl who tried to kill you love when you have the opportunity to kill them. Being merciful to ppl who have no mercy in them for others is how you end up suffering when those same ppl continue to attack you. I would have killed the mother and two daughters without revealing myself so they wouldn't know where the attacks came from. I would have made it look like a murder suicide with a confession letter to pin the murder of the father and Ailian on the middle sister.

Furthermore, treating the ML like he's stupid makes her look stupid. Did she forget how perceptive this dude was?

All this, I want you to confess nonsense and I'm going to beat your winery to win is taking too many gambles. All this "I need to clear my name or my family's name" who gives a shit if everyone is already presumed dead. It's not like ppl will pay homage to your grave or old house every day for years on end. Just get your revenge and satisfaction knowing you took away the lives and future of those who thought they would gain from your loss.

ppl like her are the reason I could never be a bodyguard. If I tell you to do something and you give me attitude, you can find yourself another bodyguard. The job is stressful enough without the person you're trying to protect making their own safety difficult. Okay. on ep. 4 and really enjoying it.

See, I would have shot Ruo Yuo in the shoulder and the arrow would have pierced Xi's heart. She put a knife to her sister's throat to use her as a hostage and it wouldn't have worked with me. I always like the characters who don't fall for that mess. yes, it would be terrible to lose a loved one that way, but hey, they should also be fighting for their own lives. Furthermore, you're willing to sacrifice the lives of millions for one. That's not leadership. So, the crown prince was a punk for letting them go just because his woman was used as a hostage. Because he did that, now the whole country is in danger when it didn't have to be that way.

This is a good example of the palace being too damn big. A whole rebellion going on in one section and you none the wiser in another. lol

Does it have its cliches? Yes. Does it have ridiculous moments like her becoming a killed martial artist in a few months when it takes others years? Yes. Does it have a ML with a horrible unflattering wig? Yes. But it's fun. The FL has more intelligent moments than stupid ones, if that helps. I'm on ep. 16 now, so that may change. Villains are fun to watch and I enjoy seeing them get theirs.

And like with nearly ALL these types of shows, the ML must be on his death bed before the FL admits she loves him and wants to be with him. I'm not sure if that will happen with this one, but I feel like it will.

I'm trying to understand and like this character, but it's hard. Her indifference towards the ML is stealing my joy. I get why she is like that, but with a series being 25 episodes, and it's supposed to be a romance, I'm not enjoying the leads not being together, even at ep. 22 all because she's still thinking about getting back to her world.

Lol, IKR. I like shows where an elite bodyguard has to protect someone. Like Red Swan and K2. I'm on ep. 4 of this one.

She's hard-headed. LOL. My guy said "Get off the train" she stayed on the train. he said "Don't sit down" and she sat down. I bet she'll follow directions next time.

These ppl wear their emotions on their faces all day, every day. Not one can hold a poker face to save their lives. And the ML always talking about integrity, all of his plans fail. Perhaps he needs to play dirty See, if I were him, I'd start seducing the eldest daughter, marry her and really start manipulating her into insanity. Gaslighting her, making her even more jealous of the FL to the point where she makes a mistake and either dies or goes to jail. That's if you want to play with your prey.

I'm always of the mind to just go John wick-style on revenge. this other sh!t takes too long and isn't a guarantee that you'll succeed. Blowing up the building when nobody is there would hurt them big time. And I would have done that without revealing myself, so they wouldn't even know WHO was after them.

I agree. I feel bad for the male lead who is feeling like he's the only one fighting for their relationship. He must be so confused. If she didn't love him, why save his life? If she didn't love him, why help him get out of jail? If she didn't love him, why marry him again?

She doesn't realize that he's not just trying to fight against having a concubine, but also against schemes that could ruin their business and her chances at becoming the Top Tea Merchant. She's not thinking about that because she's so afraid of falling in love, or at least admitting that she did. And that's where she needs to be honest with herself/himself and really think about what he wants.

I bet it's not even about him staying in the game forever. It's about him being honest with his feelings. Allowing someone inside his heart and working as a team because of love, not a business deal. Once he's honest and accepts the love the ML is giving and together they win. He'll return. But as long as he's refusing to fall in love, he'll be stuck at 90% with the TOP Tea title and wondering why he hasn't returned.

I can see why you said that because of how she tries to act like she doesn't care. I think she's at war with herself in the sense that she does love him, but doesn't want to get too attached, because in his/her mind, the goal is to complete the mission and leave that world. And if she/he gets too attached to the people in that world, he may never return to his real world.

At least, that's what makes sense to me. But I agree, she is being foolish by how she's acting regarding this other woman and not communicating with her husband.
