That was my biggest frustration 🤦🏼♀️ Like I get how it got harder and harder to tell her the truth,…
He had the perfect opportunity to come clean when she followed him to war. After that, he really didn't have any excuses. Because she didn't want a divorce and was willing to stand by his side. He started to tell her the truth and then punked out. He deserved her wrath.
REALLY enjoying this one so far. But mmmm, ma'am you are no longer a blushing virgin... Even if you did go back in time. With that kinky husband you had before. That you were complacent to, I'm sure she can do things to the prince that will have his toes curling. Go on ahead and work that prince over. 😂
Her initial reaction to finding out the truth about his identity has me asking "Is it that serious?" It's not like he's always known. It's not like he's had any of the Song influence, he's been raised by your family the whole time since he was an infant. And didn't even sacrifice half his life so that you could live? Didn't he risk his life again to save you from poison? And didn't your father already raise you to accept him regardless of his background? So, he must have already known. Is putting a sword to his throat really a justified response, overdramatic, ungrateful ass woman. Get it together.
And his reaction. He's over here feeling guilty like he committed the crimes himself. Dude, you were a baby! Had nothing to do with what the Song family did. Furthermore, there's not even any real proof that he is a member. The crest matching the one in the book, big deal? It's not like a witness came forward and told him the whole story about how he survived and ended up in her family.
I did enjoy the act they put on later, once everything was all clarified so there would be no issues between then. This plan of theirs, though. Would have failed if the Prince wasn't so talkative and was more murderous when faced with the emperor. Did they take into account he'd want to complain and brag, thus giving them time to save the day in their plotting? LOL.
I enjoyed watching the outtakes. This was a good series.
Dude, she's been in prison, probably getting starved and tortured for 6 months and was almost burned alive... and you want to show up playing hide and seek with your identity. If you don't take that dumb ass mask off right now!.
💯. I watched this last year and was completely annoyed by the FL for exactly the stuff you said. She is head-gamey…
I sent you a friend request. We see eye to eye on a lot of things. My main pet peeve is the misunderstanding trope. When one or both characters are mad about something and will talk to everyone else except each other about it and ignore sound advice to just talk it out when they get it.
It's just lazy writing/storytelling if that's all you have to go on for plot. My finger will stay on that FF button until the characters show intelligence and maturity again. And that's if I'm still interested in the outcome.

Yeah, I agree. They didn't have good chemistry at all, because whenever the chemistry showed up to class, she slammed the door in its face. She was highly annoying for me in that regard. I don't like when they drag out the relationship that could developed because of a stubborn character with their imagined slights and issues. And it's almost always the female doing this. There is always something drastic that has to happen to the ML for the FL to finally admit her feelings for him. Dude damn near has to die for her to stop pushing him away and playing games. That's why I've started fast forwarding past that nonsense. I don't need to see ten thousand scenes of the characters being unnecessarily difficult for the sake of drama. Act like adults.
This dude ain't gonna tell her the truth until they have like five kids. 😂 This is the reason I don't care for secret identity tropes. They will cling to those lies for dear life even while they're Unraveling. Thus treating everyone else like they're stupid, and thinking they're so clever.
I do hope the whole angry period doesn't go on for 10 episodes. I'm at 22 now.
No she doesn’t forget, she still has the moves but doesn’t have the core strength like she did before….different…
Luminosity was one of those surprises for me. I didn't think it was going to be my thing, but I was blown away. Very mature story. And the acting was great.
I'm currently watching "Are You The One" and I'm really enjoying it.

They have been releasing a lot of fun minis. The ones I've enjoyed are this one, of course. Just finished Tower of Whispers, which I loved. The Crush is cool and I'm really enjoying Spring Fever. Now, Fated Hearts has me obsessed. It's shaping up to be one of my favs like Luminosity Behind the Palace.
No she doesn’t forget, she still has the moves but doesn’t have the core strength like she did before….different…
The chair to the balcony was what I was talking about. But I see you understood my point.
Not mental gymnastics. Hostage situation is a hostage situation. Quite simple really. The prince wants something from them, and he using methods he thinks will make them cave. It would be better for him if he was honest with her instead of allowing himself to be blackmailed. He has a choice to fight back.
But, I'm enjoying this series and look forward to seeing how it will end.

The scenario in drama and actions movies is very common. And in this case, it was used so that the ML could shine. Like I said. They don't show us how she got into that situation. She had been taking on all opponents be them professional assassins to your average maid for 18 episodes. And for like 17 of those episodes, she won every fight without her secret core strength.
So what I like is consistency. There is a reason why we're not shown how she became his hostage. It's because her fighting back won't fit the narrative they need for the ML to shine at that moment. He had sacrificed so much for her and that is his role.
I even laughed when the prince told him he was a Song. Just based off the jade crest. These Blood Debts. He's so worried she'll find out. Like, he sacrificed half of his life to being her back. He was raised with her and they fell in love. But, much like the knife to the throat scenario, now we have the secret scenario where he'd rather be stressed and blackmailed than tell the truth to her and see how she reacts instead of taking the 9th Prince's word for it.
I would have just lied and said "that's not mine". And no matter how hard the Prince would have tried to claim it was, I would have continued to deny it, just so he wouldn't have anything on me. Because honestly, what other real evidence is there? It not like someone else can prove his identity. But that is version of the knife to the throat scenario.

Alright whatever. I'm not about to argue this nonsense over a series that brought somebody back from the dead using witchcraft. Bottom line is, they just wanted her to be helpless so that the ML could save her. No matter how you want to slice it up. It happens in so many dramas. And if you want to be helpless if you're ever in that situation, not even attempt to try anything to save yourself, be my guest.
No she doesn’t forget, she still has the moves but doesn’t have the core strength like she did before….different…
There are many more examples if that was didn't satisfy you.
To me, it's just not as serious as you're making it out to be. If he can bring her back from the dead and her previous body had some mythical inner core strength, then I can choose to believe she should be able to get out of that scenario, with or without that it because the skill was still there. I mean, she drowned three women with one hand, and two at the same time without that core strength. So, it could be done,. Especially in a time of sword fighting when that was always a possibility.
It's so an overused scenario too. Some movies or shows show the person getting out of those knife to neck holds while others choose to make the person helpless. And some of those ppl didn't even have martial Arts skills.

that's a lot. I don't feel like reading all that. Besides, how the hell did she even allow him to get her into that position anyway when she was demolishing everyone who came at her the whole series? Also, he didn't expect the attack that came, did he? which means his guard was down anyway, because he expected her to be compliant. He expected the ML to just accept defeat.
Tbh its understandable since she's at most vulnerable place; no memories, friends tried to kill you, stuck wit…
That isn't why I found her to be frustrating sometimes. Being too prideful is a problem. Also, once the ML let her whip him he switched up his whole attitude because he wanted to help her. She was free to move about in "enemy territory" but the main threat for her was coming from her home territory. I honestly don't think she was afraid being there. Not with how freely she chose to move around and without guards.
Her pride lead to hear nearly being killed. But yes, most amnesia tropes I hate because they lose their personality. This one is nice because she kept hers. It also helps because we don't really know what her real personality is. We've gotten glimpses through memories. But we don't really know how deeply she loved the 2ML, but what we do know is enough and that works for me.
Is it trashy? You know it.
Am I having fun watching it? You bet!

For the record, this is just one example, so I rest my case: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4Cmf1P7SRbk
