I agree. It be nice if we got to see him do some Yakuza type stuff. Since it's in the title and all. This could have been called "My Corporate Boss' Beloved" for all the office scenes we get.

I thought she'd at least try to blackmail him into dating her or giving her a higher position or raise. But asking him to leave? What really is the purpose of that? He'll still be dating FL anyway.

Her weakness is unbearable to me. I hate characters like that. Like even if you lose, at least TRY to fight back. She claimed she can handle her family business herself, but as soon as her mom shows up, she folds into herself, needing to be rescued. 😫

She just so open and friendly with anyone who shows an ounce of kindness. Miss goodie two shoes and so uninteresting to me.

My standards must be high, because this chick is hella boring to me. Everything scares her and she lacks backbone. The plot is still floating around somewhere. Eventually, it'll make itself known... I hope. This is your typical Edward/Bella relationship where the chick is pure and wholesome and the bad boy just can't resist the light she brings into his darkness. 🙄

And that would be fine with me if she wasn't so pitiful. Always needing to be saved from everything and everyone. Even when she claims she can handle certain ppl and situation on her own, when faced with the problem, she folds like a cheap lawn chair.

He's knows all about her because he's stalked her. That's not anything he needs to be praised for. And she didn't even call her boyfriend to tell him what was happening to her mom. She hasn't told her boyfriend that she's being threatened and stalked.

She's keeping secrets that will endanger them both, thinking she can handle it when she can't, because she's dealing with a power hungry, controlling, obsessive psychopath.

Ppl really are not recognizing villains these days. He doesn't love her. He's obsessed with her. There's a difference. He wants to control her and make her feel indebted to him. If he really respected her, he'd either leave her alone or just pay for everything anonymously, but he wants her to know it's him so he looks more capable than her boyfriend so that he can have her.

And if she gives in, she's asking for more control and less freedom.

He's the most interesting character for me. Truly wicked. As for MiYoun, she being silent about the stalking isn't helping. Does she think NOT telling her boyfriend will protect him? Not by NOT telling him and breaking up will just have him walking away, even when he finds out that the villain is still after her?

I honestly dislike that trope because the woman always "breaks up for the sake of the man" and the man never gives up. So, it's like, wasted effort that only ends up making the woman look weak and stupid and puts her in more danger.

She should have told her boyfriend what was happening.

That's the thing that pisses me off about that trope. All it ever takes for them to cave is threaten the lover. And they never tell their lover what's happening. They just leave them confused and heartbroken.

I'd be nice if the man moved on and found a woman who will never be weak or silly. You want to choose to live a life of misery, fine.

Like, she never really put her foot down when confronting him. Not once did she say "I can't stand you, I don't like you. Stop stalking me you sick bastard. Even if you spent your last dollar on me, I couldn't care less. "

They way he was stalker her requires serious fortitude to resist.

I was pretty excited for this drama, but so far, it's been a let down. I don't care about the sisters storylines at all. Especially the older sister who is just despicable. They just distract from the more interesting ML story and his villain friend. ML has been a little too nonchalant about things happening around him and that's why his girlfriend has been harassed constantly by that guy. When he caught dude grabbing on her the first time, he should have handled his business. But he's living in the past, thinking dude is still the same way he used to be. And I'm a bit annoyed with his girlfriend who isn't telling him ANYTHING about what's going on with her being stalked and threatened.

She did what the typical female does in these situations and decided to cave under pressure without a fight. I called it, to which really pisses me off, because I wish I was wrong. Does she REALLY THINK her boyfriend is just going to accept a break up? Also, what does she think will happen next? That dude will just leave her alone? Or just pay her way and not expect her to be his woman? DOes she think her ex boyfriend will see them together and just move on? Like he's not going to go savage and start fighting for her? Why even make that stupid decision for the both of you without letting him know what's really happening? Is she prepared to just be this gangsters woman, living in constant fear of disappointing him?

I hope she has a better plan than just breaking up.

I love everything about this damn series. It's already a perfect 10 for me and it's not even done.
1. great hero and heroine with amazing chemistry. When they look at each other, you believe the love , respect and admiration even if they don't say it.

2. Wonderful villains that actually pose threats. I like when you get to see what the villains are up to and what their plans are.

3. the action is top notch. I mean, these sword fights and martial art performances have me charged.

4. was I the only one who watched the Commander in the battle of Rundo on his horse as he when in the heat of the battle? My guy was unbothered and sexy as hell with arrows flying all around him.

I love that the female isn't making foolish decisions under the guise of wisdom. She doesn't always need to be rescued, she can handle her own business and her man has faith in her. They play off each other and trust each other and I love this. More like this please and thank you!

Hell yeah, that line. I was like. Sir, do you want her to have your baby, because that's how you get a woman to have your baby, saying shit like that.

For the most part.

I can see how she ended up loving him. He was devoted to her and trying to do good things because he knew that's what she would have wanted even when they weren't together.

Problem with her was that she jumped the gun all too often. Reacting without investigating and had his love for her not been all consuming, she could have made him hateful and cruel because of the constant betrayal. I'm on EP. 30 now.

I'm on EP 20 now. My guess is that she won't be able to form the 3 spikes she needs until she realizes that she has to do her part. And let go of her hate and mistrust and actually love him for real. That fake pretense nonsense and holding back like she's doing now won't work. It has to be genuine. At least, that's what I think.

But I also wonder if he'll die first, rise as evil and she's the one person who can tame him, but again, her love will have to be genuine, which means she'll have to love him when he's at his worse. At least, that's how I would have written it. 😂

Nods. Yep. I'm on EP. 18 now. And I love that even though he's fell in love, and he wants to do good, as he's a far better king than the fully human one, he's still ruthless. I have no idea where this story will take me, but I'm prepared for any kind of ending. 😂

By that same token, it's understandable why he was evil and destroyed the world. He never learned to value it or anyone in it. Everyone he knew was cruel to him, rich or poor, so what's it to him if he rules over the ashes? He doesn't owe anyone anything. That's a way to look at it from the villain's POV.

She was about to repeat the cycle all over again. That's all I'm saying. She was about to defeat the purpose of turning back time to prevent the worst. Did she have a vendetta, yes. Was it justified, perhaps we can call it prevenge, since he didn't do anything yet. But still, her actions almost cost her everything all over again. That's all I'm saying.

Well, there is a justification. But isn't her whole goal NOT to kill him? I mean, if he had died because of what she was doing to him, she would have been the cause of him being pure evil due to her petty cruelty. Cause let's be real, what she did was cruel and if she'd been anything but a celestial being, I'd give her more leeway. But you can't be claiming you're godlike and benevolent, protecting ppl from evil, but yet be cruel as soon as the opportunity presents itself.


Her objective was to prevent him from becoming evil, not be a catalyst. Yes, she admitted she almost messed up. Yes, she is having genuine feelings for him. Yes, figures out that he is void of emotions other than rage because of how his life was. I'm simply pointing out her flaws.

I'm on ep. 23 and the steam is tapering for me. I'm not all that invested in every case that pops up an d takes several episodes to solve. I feel like I might be if the ML and FL would just communicate like adults.

Enemies to lovers, but if she's so perceptive, why can't she see that he loves her? Instead she keeps her walls up and imagination off the rails with doubts instead of just asking him how he feels, or if he remembers that they met when children. She'd be dead by now if he wasn't always there to save her and she still doesn't trust him 23 eps in.

I wonder how long they are going to draw this relationship out? I don't always need a slow burn. In fact, I'd prefer couples who love each other at least by the 15 ep and then nothing can separate them because they respect and love each other enough to be honest.

I'm just getting kind of bored with all these cases, not enough plotting from the villains... I may have to skip to eps to get through this one. Give me the series, The Double any day.
