My review for Season 2 https://www.nosleep4dramas.com/post/tdrama-review-danger-zone-s2-2021
I love your reviews! They are on point and summarize the stuff I always look for. Nice to see another crime and fantasy fan. I really want to start it now.
This series is perfection every episode. Other series deteriorate in writing with time and introduce unnecessary conflict, but this is just wonderful every episode that airs. It teaches that you deserve to be loved and adored no matter who you are. Fridays are the best because of this. Also the 4k visuals are absolutely wonderful.
I started this excited for the scenery and EarthMix, but the pilot episode and writing in general are absolutely…
So I don't forget: characters losing consciousness and not even trying to swim up after being submerged into water for a few seconds was the nail in the coffin.
I started this excited for the scenery and EarthMix, but the pilot episode and writing in general are absolutely disastrous. The whole artificial conflict of the series makes no sense and Win's character history and his present behavior are not correlated well at all. I think Jan was an incredibly good casting considering her facial expressions and similarities. It had some really nice moments and good messages, but so many scenes felt out of place. It wasn't even shot with the best cameras and there are so many scenes in dark, so my dreams of seeing Thai nature quickly disappeared. The actors deserved so much better.
Ahh, I'm so excited about season 2. Shame about the recast though! They had great chemistry in season 1, so I wonder if it will be on the same level. I'm hoping to see more of the cute GL couple in the next season.
This is now fully English subbed by Netflix, with more subs on the way. Support it on Netflix if you can. If you can't, I posted the subs on subscene if you prefer srt.
Cute bromance, but don't expect any thrilling investigation or a lot of action scenes. It's very slow at times. It also leaves a lot of unresolved stuff, so I would probably wait for season 2. But yeah, a lot of scenes make no sense, especially in episode 8, that episode was so weird. Maybe those scenes would make sense with season 2, but it's hard to say.
You are not alone. It's haunting me even now. 😭Banana Sound Studio handled the soundtrack, but they haven't…
The OST is so briliant and it's a crime that they haven't released it! I always come back to listen to some scenes. I highly doubt we will see an actual release since they haven't done it for the other BLs, either. They don't usually showcase it either, but that could depend on what rights they own to it.
Thank you for all your subs! I always like to browse your Twitter or this list for inspiration of new stuff to watch. You sub the dramas that are not plagued by unnecessary romance and I love that.
This is such a lifeless series. It's halfway through and nothing has even happened, it's all the same as episode 1. Honestly if all the characters got murdered in the next episode, it would be more eventful than all the episodes combined. Every character is so weird, especially Kuea's. They blew so much budget on sets instead of having a good script. The emotional scenes don't feel emotional and the sped-up scenes are so cringy and not the good kind of cringe.
Lulu was quite sweet! The misunderstandings were usually resolved quickly and it had some positive messages about life as well. The beach scenery was beautiful as expected. This is Rita Martinez' first acting project and she did really well. She's also LGBT, so it's nice to see actually LGBT people representing lesbian characters. She recently signed with vivamax, so hope we get more GL projects with her. What I didn't like in Lulu were the scenes where the characters looked directly to the camera which were unnecessary. Luckily, there were only a few of them. The OST has also been released and is available on most platforms https://open.spotify.com/album/4VYj9SOgfaxUMtMAB0Jo1t?si=R3fhnCzvRYGzOx7Zg_qgxQ I would rate this 8.5/10
I don't think I will be able to recover from this ending for quite some time. Phat dying of cancer when he wasn't even that old, his mom being lonely the rest of her life. Phat managed to marry a woman, but it felt like he never really moved on and spent most of his life waiting for Phob. The producers really killed me with this last episode.
