You are not alone. It's haunting me even now. ðŸ˜Banana Sound Studio handled the soundtrack, but they haven't…
The OST is so briliant and it's a crime that they haven't released it! I always come back to listen to some scenes. I highly doubt we will see an actual release since they haven't done it for the other BLs, either. They don't usually showcase it either, but that could depend on what rights they own to it.
Thank you for all your subs! I always like to browse your Twitter or this list for inspiration of new stuff to watch. You sub the dramas that are not plagued by unnecessary romance and I love that.
This is such a lifeless series. It's halfway through and nothing has even happened, it's all the same as episode 1. Honestly if all the characters got murdered in the next episode, it would be more eventful than all the episodes combined. Every character is so weird, especially Kuea's. They blew so much budget on sets instead of having a good script. The emotional scenes don't feel emotional and the sped-up scenes are so cringy and not the good kind of cringe.
Lulu was quite sweet! The misunderstandings were usually resolved quickly and it had some positive messages about life as well. The beach scenery was beautiful as expected. This is Rita Martinez' first acting project and she did really well. She's also LGBT, so it's nice to see actually LGBT people representing lesbian characters. She recently signed with vivamax, so hope we get more GL projects with her. What I didn't like in Lulu were the scenes where the characters looked directly to the camera which were unnecessary. Luckily, there were only a few of them. The OST has also been released and is available on most platforms https://open.spotify.com/album/4VYj9SOgfaxUMtMAB0Jo1t?si=R3fhnCzvRYGzOx7Zg_qgxQ I would rate this 8.5/10
I don't think I will be able to recover from this ending for quite some time. Phat dying of cancer when he wasn't even that old, his mom being lonely the rest of her life. Phat managed to marry a woman, but it felt like he never really moved on and spent most of his life waiting for Phob. The producers really killed me with this last episode.
I haven't seen IRIS 2 and I probably won't watch it. It got to the point where I was glad to see Sa Woo die and…
I highly agree! Sun Hwa, and Chul Young were pretty great. The amount of plot holes was insane. I completely forgot to mention the awful hacking scenes which ruined the drama even further (luckily they weren't present in IRIS 2). "Best hacker in SK" dying was probably the only good scene of her. So many frustrating characters in one drama. If I could purge my brain of IRIS 1, I would have enjoyed IRIS 2 more for sure. The fact that nothing got resolved with regards to IRIS was a huge mistake. This kinda continued in IRIS 2, but at least IRIS 2 had more closure and focused more on the organization rather than romance and silly plotlines.
This would have been so much better if the characters weren't complete psychos with no respect for personal boundaries, especially in the first half. I think Bong Deok was the only decent character and even he was questionable.
It's too bad it's so short! The scenery and the buildings were so beautiful, they could have shot anything there and I would watch it. Maybe a more fleshed out storyline would help. Still, it wasn't bad at all compared to some other BLs. Does anyone have any good recs for more countryside BLs?
Shun Oguri and Munetaka Aoki :O Such an amazing combo. The cases were quite unique and the OST was haunting. That ending definitely requires you to watch the movie sequel. I'm so lucky I don't have to wait 3 years for the continuation because that would be nerve-racking. Great drama!
I think it might be on Spotify. That's where I've been listening to the other songs.
I could only find Plankoo - Never Apart and Supanut - Just like a dream on Spotify. The instrumental OST hasn't been released yet and it's usually rare for it to be released. It's produced by Banana Sound Studio, they have one song available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhxXf5TesQQ
This was a really fun watch, I actually want season 2. It would be interesting to see where they would go with it. I wish there was more bromance and Wayne Song, but the actors definitely did well and the production visuals were amazing. I kinda wish it wasn't shot vertically so we could experience the beauty of some scenes, but it was still very satisfying. The rating might be a bit low due to the BL bait, sadly. 8.5/10 from me
So much new instrumental OST in that latest episode. I want them to release it because it's insanely good. It really fits perfectly and makes every scene thrilling.
It would take hours to add all the seasons to MDL. I established a broadcast timeline, check the link below. It took so long to put together, hope it helps someone in the future!
