For me, it was both the montage of how the older ML would prank the younger MC over the years and then also the Christmas scene where he put the color on the guy's face and then didn't tell him before he went up in front of a crowd and the people were all staring at him. Then afterwards, he confronted the older ML about how he doesn't like it when he does that and his parents even sided with the older ML as if being upset about being humiliated/embarrassed in front of a bunch of people is the MC's fault + not a big deal. I remember being a little upset for the MC bc if that sort of thing happened to me I would probably not talk to the ML for a while because I would be a bit mad (especially if other people are siding with him when he was the one that pranked me). buttttt that's just me maybe lol, I don't like pranks of any kind at all so I definitely was very close to dropping bc I was worried it would continue on that way with the pranks, but was very relieved that it took on a more serious tone and that the other guy was mature about it (finally haha) to apologize and explain why he kept pranking him.
(To be fair, I also have a hard time/tend to avoid BLs that are silly 100% of the time, I am very weak to second-hand embarrassment)
I also wonder why, maybe because the first episode prank premise seemed childish (?) I think maybe people thought it would continue on that way instead of the plot becoming a bit more serious afterwards and dropped it :c which I get why since I also almost didn't continue it for that reason since I hate pranks both in shows and irl but I'm glad it got better + I gave it a chance
how big a role do the christian stuff and the pranks play in this? both are putting me off and I'm stuck in the…
I also did not like the pranks and thought they were annoying, but if you continue it does get better. The christian stuff just gives background to their upbringing but isn't the focus, just a setting the characters are in thankfully and the SPOILER: pranks, the character does apologize for them and says he won't do them anymore.
This new chick Iām SO not a fan of. Sheās so victim-coded. No one elseās trauma is worse than hers so only…
literally lmaoooo like whattt?? Not her assuming that other people don't have hardship in their lives just because they don't suffer from the same exact problems as she does. The way I thought she was going to just be a shy girl that stole the other guys time bc she liked him but turned out to be an presumptive a-hole was wild to me. Just because you have hearing loss doesn't mean that you now get a free card to be a jerk to other people >:c
The Dad is really something coming to run his son's life after all this time. I wonder why Tongrak is so scared…
I believe they explained that he used to be physically violent and Tongrak got the brunt of it one time when he was a kid and so now he has trauma from that
Ikr .I haven't found another good BL.the only ongoing one I'm watching is lovesea.I need more
Ah, I suppose "I Hear the Sunspot" could be boring to others lol. I tend to like slow burn + I find the stuff about addressing the possible feelings and problems people might face when coming to terms with a new disability interesting ^^; as for love mix up, I also have seen the japanese ver. but I'm the type that loves to rewatch stuff haha. Glad to see that you're liking 4 Min so far tho!

"I Hear the Sunspot" is good so far, maybe "Century Of Love", "Takara's Treasure". I would also recommend My Love-Mix Up but you said you didn't like silly stuff š
i know the cat from episode 1 is just a cgi, but man the crying and struggling was hard to watch
I have yet to get back to this show because of that. I knew it was going to be a show about serial killers but somehow that was the thing that really got to me. It felt as though it went on for too long, (the noise especially) but if you think about it, since the dude is a serial killer and often there is the precursor of killing/torturing animals as a sign of apathy it makes sense. I just have to be in the mood to be able to stomach itāwhich I found surprising since I listen to true crime podcasts all the time.
Oww,,, so the plot is not TutorFighter but SaifahZonā¦. Right,,?
It was honestly like a mix between the two. Iāve seen both the Thai and the Korean version and it felt like they mixed and matched whatever they wanted to each character because none of them I was like āoh this is exactly what tutor saidā or āthis is what Saifah saidābecause they would say things that the second couple said as well and vice versa which was odd but I guess they wanted to make sure it wasnāt 100% the same, word for word, scene for scene as the Thai version
Not going to lie, Iām following just so I can see this post later on when I need to laugh because I was dying for a good 20 minutes and had to pause almost after every sentence since I needed to breathe.
