Some people complain that we complain about the series too much, or that we are overcomplicating things, overthinking…
All opinions are welcome, and I'm not going to write a novel (like I read a minute ago), telling folks how they should feel and express their feelings about a show. You can be as negative or positive as you want. Why can't you? Who is someone else to tell you otherwise?
Don't get baited into some long ass back and forth with "I don't understand why there's so much negativity" folks. It's not legit. They just want to tell you how they feel about your opinions, and pretend they don't understand.
Your opinions don't have to be reviewed, evaluated or validated.
Plus, the way they interacted never made me think Porsche thought he was raped. I was ready to go with whatever…
Yes. I also think Porsche was confused by the sexual encounter, and it caused him to question things he thought he knew about himself. He was the quintessential lady's man, yet he responded sexually to a man. I think his mind was blown.
I also agree that because he knew Kinn had "boy toys", he didn't want to be one, and after they had sex, and Kinn became cold, he was hurt by the thought that their physical encounter was meaningless, because it had definitely changed him.
Now about the gray scene, Porsche's words show that it was a dub-con, not r@pe. If it was that, Porsche wouldn't…
Plus, the way they interacted never made me think Porsche thought he was raped. I was ready to go with whatever Porsche revealed, as the show progressed.
Even the interaction when Porsche had come back from his bar outing with friends and he and Kinn were discussing Vegas, and Porsche said "At least he's done me no harm", that wasnt about the sex they had. It was Porsche being hurt from the punishment and how distant Kinn was, after the sex. He was ready for another round, and got curved with an announcement that he was being replaced. You could see how hurt he was.
I had to finish this, and after watching Kinn Porsche Ep 6 (which was epic), it was hard to do. I don't think I can ever watch another bl, with grown men styled to look like 13 year old boys.
Yeah, that needs to get going. It should have started a couple of episodes ago. I don't want it rushed, because it's such a complex relationship. Hopefully there's a season 2, if they can't do it justice. I hope they don't mess this up.
The scene where Porsche collapses on Kinn in the truck, and Kinn opens his eyes and turns them towards Porsche - Mile has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen in my entire life. 😍
I hated the entire series. Hira just let EVERYBODY walk all over him. I kept wanting him to grow a spine. He never…
Yeah. There are plenty who think like us. They just don't feel like being attacked for it, and don't have the time. This series tends to draw weird, obssessive fans - everybody has to love this show, and if you don't, it's a problem. We don't "get it", as if it's so cerebral, and we lack brain power. Lol. It's hilarious to me. I share my opinion, just to watch people come unglued. It's a fascinating study of what not having a life does to a person.
I couldn't stand either of the characters. Hira was my least favorite, because he was the classic doormat. He let people walk all over him, in his OWN HOUSE. I was like, wtf? They're both beautiful men to look at...and that's why I stuck with it. I'm shallow, Lol! But the story? No.
He's an interesting man.... very talented, but interesting. There's an old video on YouTube, where he was asked…
No, I don't think he's changed, as far as his perspective on dark skin, and that's fine. He's not alone . But hopefully he's matured and aquired wisdom and social intelligence.
He's an interesting man.... very talented, but interesting. There's an old video on YouTube, where he was asked what would disqualify a girl from being his girlfriend. His answer? Having dark skin. I actually saw the video.
Of course people defended his answer, stating he has a right to have a preference. As a Black woman, I agree. But it was interesting that was the FIRST thing that came out of his mouth, out of all the qualities that could make a girl undesirable....and he chose skin color. He made it sound like having dark skin is the most detestable thing. Even those standing around him were taken aback by his bold insensitivity. The guys standing next to him looked somewhat uncomfortable, and the girl in the group glared at him, as if to say, "Did you really just say that?"
Yes, he's Chinese, and there's the colorist element of Chinese culture. I get that. But he also has fans, of all hues, including "dark". He doesn't seem to get that. There's a level of fan service...pretending, that's expected. It's not always good to say everything you think. Only a fool does that. We know he's not going to date anyone with melanin. You don't have to like dark skinned girls, but at least have a enough respect to not act as if dark skin is a form of leprosy. When these guys say, "I want a nice girl who makes me smile", we know that's not all. Some say they like fair skin..that's fine. I don't think that's racist. But the tone...the way he said it was not cool, and he knew it. He had this smirk, like "yeah, I said it". 😒
He's older now, and I'm sure he feels the same. But hopefully he's matured to the point that he wouldn't be so insensitive. However he's never come across as a particularly warm person, to me. He looks annoyed and disinterested in many of the interviews I've seen. But he gets a pass, because he's considered good looking by many, and he can dance. He's not attractive to me at all.
wait why are there no WOMEN in this show🤨🤔❓ except for the bar owner (sorry i dont remember her name)
I'm a woman, and I have to admit I really didn't notice the lack of women - the bar owner and Porsche hook-ups in the back room are what I remember. But that's probably because the men are so delicious.
If there's going to be women, they need to bring something different - not the typical obsessed, vindictive, scorned "victim" of unrequited love - can't figure out the guy she wants prefers a d*ck she doesn't have, but wants to block access to those who do. I get tired of that storyline.

He's completely smitten with Kinn.
Actually, I wish "Because Of You" had been part of this soundtrack, instead of wasted on "The Tuxedo".
I don't know if I can go back to what I've been used to watching. I think this show has ruined me. Seriously.

Women bodyguards would have been nice.
