This drama story is really refreshing. Could be a tropey mess but it is actually engaging and even with the old premise it develops with fresh takes.

It was a good drama, good acting by the leads but, Bai Shu, dear, don't try villains again.

Does anyone here knows what is his eye type? Phoenix, fox, round, peach blossom?

Not only in this comment section, but in comment sections of Chinese dramas in general, people can't criticize a character or some character's actions without attracting a horde of fans of the actors defending their characters as if the criticism was for the acting or for the actor personally. It is frustrating and boring.

The FL knowing all the plot set in the novel and knowing he is the ML she is still against him? Makes no sense, the whole maskerade warrior thing is also dragging the story, we are stuck in this while the actual development with NH is halted. Not a fan of this rote for the drama

I didn't watch this drama fully because the plot seemed crazy but if I remember correctly the ML was not in love with the FL and she had a thing that would give his powers back or something. Totally different story.

Oh did he killed her child not knowing he had a child. Or she knowing she was pregnant was breaking laws without caring for herself and her baby? Who was consciously putting the child in danger?

She needs to kill even more? Do you think two gods are not enough? She does not need to say she is above the law, when she breakers the law by saving the Mengs and by killing the Dragon God and thinks she should get away unpunished is enough to show how she thinks she can break any law if it is her judgement to do so and go unpunished.

She kills who she wants, she saves the life of who she wants, she thinks she is above law, she chooses who died and who lives, the heavens and destiny are all wrong, she is the only one right. She lies and she shouldn't be punished, she is the only one wronged, she is the only one with feelings, everyone else is cold hearted, this her logic.
