It does matter, this system does not work anymore. MDL is open to rating manipulation. Everybody already knows this to the point people cannot take the ratings seriously anymore.

I don’t agree. What it matters is the disparity between episodes rating and overall rating. Mysterious Lotus Case Book, for example, overall rating data chart is above 8.7 but episodes ratings are around 7, that means fan attack because people would not rate overall over 8.5 then rate episode 7. Most people don’t care rating each episode but haters will. In the end, MLCB should have a score over 8.7 but the episode ratings are dragging down to 8.4. In this one I didn’t took my time to check the episode ratings but we soon will see.

Wow today episode gave a light on how LXY was poisoned, to be betrayed by his own fellow is worse than by an enemy. This makes the story even more interesting because the villains are not only in the devil sect but can also be in the “good sects” and maybe the whole battle against the devil sect has deeper reasons and also the death of his senior is not that simple (if he is really dead because there is no corpse). Ok, ok, ok I was not expecting it to be this good! The production, the directing, the fighting scenes are really amazing and believable. Cheng Yi is even more swoonworthy than he usually is, was this even possible? The storyline is also good so far, I look forward to next episodes.
