For this drama it's NOT team Du Shik or team Sung Hyun BUT team Hye Jin OR team Du Shik lol.

I really hope all the topic left incomplete are addressed again properly in the next episodes.

I hope they bring the "social position " topic again because the talk about it sill feels incomplete to me.

I believe a lot of people have somewhat mindset as Hye Jin is just that no one speaks the same to someone's face because it sounds rude. She is brutally honest so that before someone else hurts her she herself just build up the wall with the harsh words.

Du Shik and Hye Jin have complete different beliefs, that's why they are said to be " polar opposites". They don't agree completely but think about what the other said again.

The thing is the audience also knows that Du Shik is suffering from psychological problem and has some sort of trauma haunting him down so it hurts a bit MORE every time Hye Jin is cold to him.

Now that I think, it was a smart move of writer to not introduce SML in first episodes. And when she introduced (Ep5-6) he didn't exactly had screen time with FL BUT ML.

In those (Ep 1-6) people are already head over heels for DS. So now the SH don't stand much of chance as a competitor against DS.

Love triangle hasn't started yet.

TBH I am still eagerly waiting and this weeks episodes were good! And I'm more curious about characters depth but somewhat was upset by Hye Jin but then I understand her as well.

This week is passing faster than last week lol

Okay so I just wanna say it Love triangle if done can be fun as well.

And for Hye Jin, what happened in ep 2 was understandable. She is a introvert and also like small talks. Being a city person everything was new to her and every person takes time to settle in the surroundings. She got annoyed, she said something she shouldn't have and for which she genuinely apologized as well.

"Social position" I don't think she was wrong tho. I'm a Asian as well, trust me qualifications and background MATTERS. Falling in love ain't the same anymore. These days whenever I have received wedding invitation cards the qualifications of groom and bride are written right under their names. WHY? because now only social positions matter, also sounds ridiculous? But it's true.

And she said so because of what her ex talked about her. She was looked down on because of her social position, it's understandable. When you suffer because of something you try to avoid doing it again. She was trying to protect herself at that moment after what happened between them. Yess I felt bad for Du Shik but can't deny this happens in Asian countries a lot.

Well if you see there were three scenes in first epilogue of drama, she was sad on beach (when she caught his attention) second time she was doing a good deed and third when she was helping the villagers( to earn some money) and was later actually enjoying it when at first she was not even interested in doing the job. Also when she persuaded Gam Ri sshi to do the implant by personally visiting her. He has seen a side of her who is warm hearted also.

If he liked her just because she is beautiful he would always take her side rather than getting upset/ and being disappointed in her. He thinks she is kind hearted person which she is but also she has guarded herself.

Du Shik is affectionate and every one in the village thinks the same. He has not once receive affection tho. In ep 6 he said that "I was almost going to start hating you again" which means how she behaved with him in ep 6 he could have just not liked her anymore. But when she helped Ju Ri he was proud of her.

Du Shik maybe really dunno how he feels about her because he has being always being affectionate to people (so maybe he can't differentiate). What I know is he is interested in her but when she was wrong he talked to her that how he doesn't he agree with her pov.

And for love triangle, SML is just not a plot device I believe he will himself will have a arc as well. Love triangle is there so that Du Shik can realise that his affection for Hye Jin is different than his affection for the villagers.

He is suffering from psychological problem so ofc he can't be counting the number of days left of being alive. So maybe he knows what date the contract of Hye Jin's house and clinic will expire so maybe that's what it is.
