pls some miracle happen and the writers decide for alys to end up with tripp because seriously Drake palma you…
Watched all 13 episodes that are out in like the span of 4-5 days. Once Tripp came into the picture, it felt like Drake as a character was so absent even though he is a main lead. Drake has no character development at all. I wished it was more evident to the audience that he did fall for Alys and that his efforts didn’t feel like it’s because he’s about to lose her.
I got the feeling that it was a wattpad story from the beginning. I feel like there were a lot of scenes where Alys, the FL, is talking to herself that could’ve worked better as inner dialogue. Also this drama would’ve maybe done decently well back in 2010-2015, but right now there are so many questionable actions from the ML. The drama was overall cringey but it’s a good filler drama (watching something as I wait for my main drama to drop a new episode.) I have watched only a handful of filo teen dramas, but I feel like the teen dramas could be more realistic and have better cinematography.
I wished the FL was also more driven to study hard at some point. I dislike how she is too focused on just having a boyfriend…
I completely agree with you. Although there is always going to be contestants more popular than others, I think it would be nice for them to have like a speed dating section in the beginning or have a one on one day with each contestant. Most contestants didn't even explore all their "options" well. I also feel that they should get counseling on how to reject people. I understand that the contestants were all trying to their best to not hurt anybody's feelings, but even if you reject someone the best you could while being straight forward, someone will still get hurt
It's a dating show, I get it, it's a SHOW, but if I liked a man and later found out he likes another woman, I…
That's what I'm saying!!!! So frustrating to see how Yeomyeong saw that jeongmok was not giving her the time of the day but kept insisting on going after him. Him being attentive and choosing someone else every time should've been the sign to move on and try to get to know someone else. I dont just feel this way about yeomyeomg, I feel this way about more than half of the contestants. I actually wished that all contestants gave themselves the opportunity to explore their options better. I hated seeing both girl and boy contestants begging for attention from that one person. Please people have more pride. If they dont like you, they dont like you. You deserve someone who you dont need to beg/compete for their attention.Gente por favor no anden de rogones.
If you noticed the other students were making a big deal about the letters wanting to know about Ying Tao. Can…
Obviously this is a drama where they probably (idk yet b/c I recently started watching it) will end up together. However, what I’m saying is that the feeling of somebody pretending to not know you/ignore you, and then later have them comeback and think that what they did is okay/still have access to you is horrible. Yes he had his reasons for doing so, but like the friends said, there are other ways he could’ve gone about it. He should’ve also just apologized, explained why he can’t receive the letters. Anything could’ve been better than saying he doesn’t know her in front of everybody.
The first 3-4 episodes felt like it was the story of my life. I had something similar thing happen to me in middle school with a friend that I considered to be my best friend. To me it felt like this person just stopped talking to me to befriend more popular kids. It was definitely sad, because there's not much you can do but to move on.
As someone who went through this, I think that the friends should have been honest with her about QiaoXi's change in attitude. QiaoXi was also a butt hole to pretend to not know her, but still want to be friends in secret(?).
Almost done with the drama! I liked it. It was a slow-burn drama, which is not what most people are used to or like. I like slow-burns because it sometimes is more realistic when it comes to portraying the timelines of relationships and the effect of trauma on relationships. This drama i liked because the scenes weren't always too dark/sad. it had the right balance. As much as i did like the lead couple, the second lead couple was so entertaining!
My compliments to Liu Haocun's stylist for this drama!!! I loved the outfits! The outfits are definitely going to be on my Pinterest board now.
I was surprised by how good this movie was! The poster really appealed to me, and after reading the synopsis, I gave it a try. I definitely thought that it was going to be a light hearted/comedy, but I ended up crying towards the end of the movie.
I don't know why the movie had such a low rating. The cinematography, the acting and the way everything wrapped up was done perfectly! Like all comments here say, ignore the rating and watch it! Seeing so many rubber ducks is worth watching, I would say 🤭
This drama was surprisingly good! When it first came out, nothing about it appealed to me. However, I didn't have anything to watch, so I gave it a try and I'm glad I did! The action and thriller aspect kept me hooked. What I like about the main couple is that once they were together, they didn't let misunderstandings get in the way.On another note, when I checked MDL for thoughts, I was honestly shocked to find that there are Wan Peng sympathizers. I did not like Wan Peng from the beginning so I can't relate. I disliked how he was always in the hospital when he had no business being there at all. Despite having such a bad life (childhood) I do think that he victimized himself too much. When he saw his mom from afar, instead of coming up to her and telling her he is her son, he just decided to assume she didn't want anything to do with him. If somebody has not seen you in so long, especially they haven't seen you between the time you were a kid and teenager, they will definitely not recognize you if you dont look the same! Wan Peng could have also reported his dad to the authorities for domestic violence at some point, but I do see that he might have been too afraid to lose another parent. Bottom line on this rant is that his childhood does not justify his actions.
The mom really has some nerve to comeback to her life, act like nothing happened before, and try have an input in Yifans life (i.e. not approving of SangYan).

Red flags were waving when I saw that he suddenly was waiting for her near her apartment. He basically ambushed her. Finding out or following her to her apartment, and inviting himself is very creepy. Even if you over hear that your co-worker is looking for a roommate and are looking for an apartment, that is not the way to come about it.
guys i'm back just to quickly rage about that annoying co-worker who keeps hitting on FL !!! I'm so mad at him…
He is sooooo annoying!!!! I dislike that intern with a passion. I feel like Zhang Liang was so respectful of the boundaries that Yifan put compared to this intern. I also find it so ironic that the intern tells her to no be pushed around but tests/pushes her boundaries 😡 The barging into the apartment was so disrespectful and inappropriate.
Decided to watch after the majority of the episodes came out on netflix. Im barely on episode 11. This is the intern's first full appearance in the episode and I'm already annoyed. I dislike how he pushes himself into her life like that. Generally I'm not fond of persistent ppl like that, so I wasn't going to like him either way. But when looking at spoilers on tiktok I didn't know how annoying he would be. I know that ppl were annoyed by Xiang Lang, but I honestly didn't find him annoying at all.
I really don't get why he didn't explain why he let her stay in their house. If he really wanted to solve things he wouldn't let something like that cut in between them. I HATE how he didn't push her off before Aizawa came in. Like he let her touch him for a little too long before reacting. SMH
Hayashi is crazy, but I feel like the ML let things go that far.
Came here after trying to see if the movie blue summer is the same as this drama. However, I’m so happy to see that ther 2019 version has gained so much appreciation and popularity. One of the best unrequited love dramas I’ve ever seen. I feel like the theme of unrequited love was executed so well. Most and foremost, I appreciate how the female lead was portrayed in this version. Even though Luo Zhi liked Shen Huai Nan a lot she definitely had more self-respect for herself. For this reason, I really preferred this version over the 2021 remake, even though the 2021 version might be more accurate to the book.
Also happy for the people who watched it on Netflix. I wish that when I watched it I didn’t have to go around and look for a good website to watch it.
I don’t know what it is about the Japanese and Chinese films I keep watching, but they always make me cry. This was a good pick me up movie. It made me shed some tears and if I were watching it alone I would have full on cried while watching it. If you’re having a hard time in life, I suggest you to watch it! The message of the movie is what we all need to be reminded of sometimes. The one and only complain that I have is that I wish we got more scenes of her living the life she’s always dreamed of.
I feel like some comments made me not want to watch it because they made it seem like they were not in love with each other. Now that I'm watching it, I'm glad that's not the case. Clearly they're still in love!
On another note Hayashi is annoying and creepy. Her going to his apartment annoyed me sooo much 🙄. I would hate it if that happened to me 😤😖 I don't know if this is a cultural thing, but if I were the ML I would tell Hayashi to stop coming to my house and to please go to the police instead.
I'm not usually one to get second lead syndrome, and in the case for this drama I could not catch it at all. The friendzoned guy was so annoying! Did not feel one ounce of pity for him. I feel like instead of protecting Xu Lai, he put her in danger with the refrigerator case she was reporting. I don't think that it was appropriate for him to say that he likes her infront of her parents. That was unnecessary especially when she has a BOYFRIEND. I also feel like that it was justified for Yu Shishi to tell her if she really didn't know [about Huo Yanzongs feelings] or if she was being dumb. I don't understand how Lu Xai never knew that he liked her. On the contrary I felt bad for Yu Shishi.
I don’t know what episode this is yet, but it’s so annoying how the same co-worker is always sabotaging her.…
Definitely think the same as you. It really would have been better if FL cleared up the misunderstanding. I was puzzled as to why she didn’t deny it, but I guess it played out well since she had to win the team over to trust her.
I wished the FL was also more driven to study hard at some point. I dislike how she is too focused on just having a boyfriend…
