Oh my god sorry 😔

I mean if in the end they showed him dating someone without much seriousness this whole journey of him for once really liking a girl would have been for nothing. He wouldn't have learned that it's okay to open up his heart or learned when he should have the dignity to stop pursuing someone who doesn't feel the same. In other words break the cycle of not being in the same type of relationship as his parents.

At least for me, those characters who try to get too much in between the main couple irritate me so much. Like my dude have more dignity! Unfortunately it didn't work out and yes it's going to be difficult to get over her but someone better will come.

Thoughts after ep 6,7, & 8:

Honestly, I prefer Minju to stay with the sml more. I guess I can understand why Doyoon decided to just stay friends with Minju after the kiss. However, I would at least like it if Doyoon experienced what Minju experienced when he was trying to get together with the senior if they are going to end up together in the end 😅.

I feel that Sunho staying single isn't a bad thing! I take it as character development. In the beginning he just dated to date (kind of a serial dater) because of how his parents relationship was like. He never truly liked any of the girls he was in a relationship with and broke up with them easily. After having a one side love, he seems to have learned what it feels like to truly like someone. ALTHOUGH I do have to say that it would have been nice if in the end he ended up dating someone who he was serious about.

Finished the drama and even though the love triangle was so frustrating to watch, I still believe it was a decent drama. I know Bae Inhuk has acted in other big drama (?) but this is the first one I watch after seeing him in small projects like web dramas. So proud of him for coming this far!

When it comes to the drama I loved how it was wrapped up. I know some viewers were disappointed that Haeyi ended up with Jungwoo but I liked that they ended up together. I had been rooting for this couple from the beginning so I kept getting frustrated that Sunho kept getting in the way 😅. I liked that Sunja and Minjae ended up together! Yong Il was honestly one of my favorite characters. I do have to agree with a comment below that this drama did not really find its color.

I did not notice that 😂 but there are scenes where I questioned why she doesn't have gloves on when she is practicing her stitches and etc.

I think you're reading too much into this drama. I have watched quite a few cdramas and do feel annoyed at times that they always make the female lead seem dumber than the male lead. However, I think that the more recent modern dramas have improved a lot in making the girls smart and indepedent. Also the female lead in this drama is not dumb. There is a difference between being timid (which goes hand in hand with anxiety) and not smart. Anxiety is something that can or can't be controllable. Most of all Anxiety makes you doubt yourself which is why she forgets the material when she takes an exam. It's true that it's never a good idea to follow your crush but if she did sign up just to follow her crush she would have already changed her major. Clearly that is not the case with her because she continued to study medicine despite her crush ending.

About the presence of mind thing, this is a comedy/lighthearted drama. There are several dramas and Hollywood movies where sometimes they do even more outlandish scenes that we all know could never happen. Obviously if this was a suspenseful drama I would questions things but even so there are people who may do things like twirl in the middle of the street in real life.

Lastly, it's explained that the female lead has never been in a relationship and therefore doesn't know when someone likes her. Even if ppl do have relationship experience I have seen people in real life where they really are oblivious of someone liking them.

@Ziling Agreed. I don't know how ppl think she is dumb when there are several examples throughout the show of her knowing her stuff or her forgetting when she is put in the spot. It's not uncommon for this to happen to people. I think people forget that anxiety can makes you doubt yourself which more than often leads the person to doing things wrong or not doing them at all. That's why the male lead is trying to help her boost her confidence. The female lead also knows that anxiety gets the best of her but at the same time she seems to mistake her anxiety with her not being smart.

I'm on ep 7 and watching it on kiss KH! But for some reason it's taking so long to load 😩. is anybody else experiencing this? what can I do to watch it without it loading every other second?

I also felt that this drama is one of the best of the year! I watched like 2 different modern dramas and while they were good, I still think (overall) this one had a good plot, it was realistic, even cliché scenes didn't feel exaggerated. There was no character that felt unnecessary or like they were taking too much time focusing on the second lead couple (if anybody watched romance of a little forest you know). I was also surprised that the main actors of this are so young!

I see where your coming from. If we didn't know Jungwoos worry about confessing his feelings we would probably think bad of him because it did look like he was toying with her feelings. Everybody is going to have a different opinion on this but I feel that if you know that these two people have a relationship or like each other why do you feel the need to insert yourself! That was just my frustration. I respect Sunho for telling Haeyi how he feels about her tho.

After catching up with this drama I honestly don't know what to think. Like many have said sunho being persistent is so annoying. Can he please respect the fact that Haeyi and Jungwoo are now a couple. Amigo por favor superala!!! The love triangle was good at the beginning when we didn't know that sunho would be annoying. Now I just hope he can stop getting in between the main couple.

on another note I hope we see Sunja and the nerdy guy get together at the end. I also hope Haeyi and Jungwoo stay together. They fit each other best and relate to each other the most 🥺.

Finally finished watching it!!! I've said this before but this drama climbed up to be my top cdrama. Some people say that the ending felt rushed or that all of this revenge story in the end was in vain. I don't think so. It was wrapped up well. A part of me thinks that Gao deserved worse or hoped that Gao would stop blaming Lu Xin for his own greed and realize he was only fighting himself. Lastly, Zhu Yuns mom was so annoying till the end but it was satisfying to see that she in the end could not control her daughter. Although I hated so much how the mom said that he would only accept someone who is in the same class as them 😡.

This was also the only cdrama that has made me want to follow the main leads on Instagram.

I have to agree with you! I personally have watched quite a lot of modern C dramas and even though I do have some that I think are good, Lighter & Princess tops them. While the plot was what made it good, what I realize now made me stay is the fact that the female lead was not made lesser so that they male lead could be the smart one. In a lot of cdramas I've noticed that they tend to make the FL look dumb and the ML the smartest in the class/best in the field.

I am not of Asian background but understand that Zhu Yuns relationship with her mom is realistic to this culture. I think that's what makes this a good drama. Whenever the mom made decision for Zhu Yun I felt the frustration. However, my criticism was more for the mom because of how if it wasn't for her deciding that Zhu Yun should study computer science she wouldn't have met Li Xun. Not only that but if the mom is so well educated and works with children why does she hold such a bad light of children who come from a struggling family. She shouldn't even be working around children because people who hold these stigmas of children with similar backgrounds as Li Xun are only psychological damaging them as they are unintentionally teaching the children that they are not going to do good in the future or don't have a bright future ahead. Basically setting those children up for failure.

Thought the same thing. FZJ obviously only does it because Gao asks him to. If it were FZJ making the calls I don't think he would care at all what Li Xun was doing.

I know I'm a bit late. I'm still on episode 31 and the mother is annoying till the end. Stop trying to push a relationship that isn't there! She does don't like the painter and doesn't think of him like that. If they did like each other than it should have happened already. Also to ask in front of the whole family is not okay.

So surprised to see that there are so many people rewatching this drama like I am! I loved this so much because it of how it made fun of the usual drama scenes and plots. To all the viewers, how did yall feel about baek kyung after getting to know his character's background?

Yes! I think that Xu Lina sees Lu Xin like a shiny luxurious object. If Lu Xin were to give her attention she wouldn't like him as much. Also Lina never liked him for the person he is. Because she can't have him, she's even more hung up on wanting to be with him.
