I really wish we got a scene of her telling him about her coworker sabotaging her work. I mean, at some point…
I don’t know what episode this is yet, but it’s so annoying how the same co-worker is always sabotaging her. I don’t understand how she got caught several times before and that co workers insist on doing it. That coworker was caught sabotaging Xu Lia’s work 2 times by the camera and she still does it.
I also think that she shouldn't have dated Minjun knowing that she wasn't over Jungo. However, Minjun is also…
Where in my post did I say that it was okay for her to cheat? MInjun was being strung along and he knew it. Yet he decided to still be in that relationship even though red flags were flashing infront of him. Even without Jungo's presence, you can tell that she didn't like him to that extent. Minjun, shouldn't have to do as much as to go tell Jungo to stay away from his fiance in order for her to stay with him. Minjun shouldn't have settled for less all this time, but because was so in love he willingly did it.I think it was for the best for them to break up. Emotional cheating happened, and he was still going to marry her if she didn't break up with him first.
Halfway through 3rd ep. At this point i think she should've never dated the second lead guy. Why dating another…
I also think that she shouldn't have dated Minjun knowing that she wasn't over Jungo. However, Minjun is also at fault. Obviously, we do not see how Minjun and Hong's relationship was all these 5 years, but from the little that we did see it seems like she has never reciprocated to his feelings despite being in a relationship so long. Minjun knows that as well because he even says to Hong that "feelings can change". Minjun put himself in that position. Personally, I don't like that Minjun went to Jungo's book signing and said all that to him. To me, it felt like a desperate move to keep Hong at his side.
So sad that I never gave this drama a chance back in 2022 😫. It's one of the better time travel dramas I've watched so far. Dare I say, this drama might be better than lovely runner in the sense that it's not too cliché. I do see that there's a lot of complaints about the FL lead in the first few episodes, but I didn't really find it annoying since it was part of her character development. I love how Qu ChuXiao portrayed Zhang Wansen (I think i might havw become of fan of him). To be quite honest, Zhang Wansen is the standard after watching this drama.
It's a heart wrenching drama but despite that I enjoyed it. The plot was not what I expected. I especially found it satisfying that Lin BeiXing never went back to Zhan Yu and left that toxic friendship. I also loved the friendship that Maizi had with Zhang Wansen. The OST and cinematography was amazing. The ending might have not been satisfying but it was fitting and sets it apart from other dramas. When it comes to the dialogue, I can't say much because I don't know any Chinese. However, there was some dialogue that were truly poetic.
To anybody needing a good cry, give this drama a try! Also don't forget to follow up this drama with the movie!
I love this drama 😭. I think this has been the best Cdrama I have seen in 2024. I don't typically get second lead syndrome, but I couldn't help it with this drama. I like how Xu GuanRui treats GuYi. He's such a good 2nd Lead. He doesn't annoyingly interfere with the main couple. He also gives such good advice, like when he told GuYi that if a guy is not willing to commit or put a label to the relationship, then pursuing that relationship is not the best decision. In an ordinary relationship, I would agree with that advice but because the Liang Dai Wen has alexithymia it does make for a different situation. Anyway, I hope to see this actor as a Main Lead in the future, since I know he has been in other dramas as a supporting character.
On another note, the chemistry between LinYi and ShenYue is amazing! When I was watching the bts for One Week Friends I wondered if I would ever see them in a drama as leads since they seemed to have more chemistry off screen than their partners in the movie. I also love how ShenYue was styled in this drama!
Oof... I don't remember well where I watched it, but I think it was a combination of dramacool and dailymotion 😬. However, it's available on Amazon Prime if that helps.
OH MY GOODNESS. I did not think that I would cry watching it. I randomly found it on youtube with subs, and thought that this would be a cute lighthearted watch. I was wrong to assume that! Regardless of that, it was such a great movie. The letter aspect of the movie reminded me of to all the boys I've loved. However, this movie was nothing like it. I feel that this movie had a more youthful and innocent essence to it. The cinematography was amazing. I liked how at the end they showed us how everything was pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle.
If you want a good cry, please give this movie a watch! it is truly a hidden gem!
IQIYI's social media manager should get a raise because I started watching it after seeing a clip of this drama on tiktok 🫢. I'm 15 episodes in and I really like it. The plot so far is good. Theres definitely some cliche stuff, but i feel that the execution is well done so its not that cringy. I'm watching a k drama that is currently airing, but this one has me hooked. I'm really trying not to binge watch it.
I'm really enjoying watching this drama! I think the leads are great at acting. My one complain so far has to be the way they dress the FL 😭. This is the second drama I watch where Ma Sichun is dressed weirdly. I'm not saying that they should dress her in high end clothes or anything like that, but just why can't they dress her a little better! 😫
Why did the FL's IQ drop to zero in episode 10? Why was she throwing tantrums at the ML? Did she expect him to…
I disagree. I dont think she threw a tantrum when she was asking him to terminate their relationship contract. She said it herself, she's starting to fall in love with him and it's better to cut it off early. It's common sense that at the supposed age they have they must have been in different relationships. However, if you pay close attention, they give hints that ML has never really been in a relationship let alone fall in love with somebody. FL doesn't know this and even when she was going to ask him, there was always something interrupting. I also think that as viewers we have like a third person's perspective. We know what's happening on both sides so I think your overlooking the fact that if you had feelings for someone and you saw them being close or doing stuff like ML to the other girl or the FL to the illustrator you would think that they have something going on. I feel like the ML could have confessed already when she said she wanted to terminate the contract.
This was such a cute short drama. I didn't think that it would be so good! I was discouraged to watch 4 minute long episodes, but to my surprise they were able to fit so much in such little time. I just wished we got to see more of them when they returned to the present time or how they would solve the problem of him having a girlfriend.
This mini drama is so cute. LIke many have said, the plot is simple. I don't agree with the complains that some have about this drama. I feel like I'm able to connect the awkwardness of the leads to the characters not having much relationship experience prior. For me, the leads are so funny! Their interactions had me kicking my feet and squealing. I feel like the reason why some ppl feel like there's no chemistry might be because typically dramas will hyper focus on making it obvious that the leads like each other. That's my thought on it. I also think that having 4 different leads show how different one couple (Ding Man & GeYao) is more obvious about their feelings and the other isnt (Ding Liao Liao & Jiang Kan).
Also I love the scorpio references! it was funny 😁
I enjoyed watching time and him are just right, so I thought I would give this a try because of the actress. Drama has an interesting plot, although it was a bit confusing in the beginning. I am a bit disappointed with the styling of Lu Yu Xiao. From the drama I only liked 3 of the outfits.I feel like they could have given her better clothes, makeup, and even hairstyle. She doesn't look bad but I think they could've done better. I don't know if anybody feels this way but that's my biggest complain about the drama.
One of the most entertaining ones I've watched this year. When I started watching it, I thought it was going to be a cliché romcom but it turned out to be so much more entertaining because of the plot twist that I definitely did not see coming. Usually there are some dramas that once the main leads get together it's not very entertaining for me. However, this one was so funny and the mystery elements to the plot made it much more entertaining. if you are waiting for the next big cdramas to drop and want to watch something good while waiting for them give this one a try!
Was looking to watch something more funny and this drama gave me some good laughs. I wish it was longer to see what happens when they are in college but I really liked how they ended the drama. Also I love the setting of the drama, very different from other city based dramas.
well it is natural for some parent to find it hard to accept their children is in a relationship with partners…
I'm not a parent but I understand the sentiment that parents have if the child isn't making, what the parents think is, the right decisions. I think that it's something that any parent feels regardless of culture. However, as a non-asian watching these dramas with controlling parents I feel like im being suffocated too. The sadder thing about some dramas is that most of the time they're not rebelling they're just working a job they like or dating someone they genuinely like but the mom thinks they're rebelling against them 😭.
After watching a clip on tiktok I decided to give this drama another try. I originally started watching it when it came out but decided to drop it because it kind of bored me or got annoyed with the mom(?) I don't really really remember, but I'm so surprised that there are many who dropped and rewatched. I thought I would be the only one! I guess with this particular drama it's common.
