I can't believe that Jin has to go through another heartache so early. Hey, Jin, the guy who won't take you for granted is right next to you.

Episodes 1 & 2The bullying in Kdramas is off the chain. Everyone present just blithely ignores it or looks on…
Actually bullying in Korea is as severe as it's portrayed due to hierarchies and such. They even have different terms for the severity of it, and there are times when teachers can't help due to student's influential parents.

It's a nice watch, good choice to watch in between the currently airing shows while you wait for the new episodes.

I was completely engrossed in the first half because it set the tension between the characters and within their lives really well, emotionally etching them out in a relatable way. In the second half, however, the drama got distracted by the supporting cast and forgot to engage in the primary conflicts of the main characters that it had promised in the opening scene of episode 1. I was looking forward to seeing how So Bin would learn to accept her rather average trajectory as a student despite hardwork and hours put into it. It is something that takes time to accept and overcome, leads to spells of emotional weariness. But that was not delved into further. This point could have been used to build a sense of rivalry or companionship with Soo Hyun, and it did, but only in the first half. Same goes for Yeo Joon. He was the most engaging character throughout, but there were points that should have been emphasized in his relationship with Soo Bin (like it did in the first half) to show his need for physical and emotional affection.

I was least interested in the supporting cast beyond a certain point which is probably why I have these complaints. I would still encourage to watch it.

I admit can be rather prejudiced so did not expect much from Jihoon since he was an idol. I am glad to be proven wrong, he's really good - his portrayal of Joon and his many sides have been spot on. And now I know that he was an actor before an idol, and it makes sense.

According to weibo this drama has received distribution licensing and is expected to air in August.
Thank goodness. I was kind of losing my patience wondering about its air date

I felt many things as I watched Se Kwon grovel at the President's feet: satisfaction, second hand embarrassment, and pity. Satisfaction because Se Kwon needs a wake up call and realize his connections will only help him so far. Embarrassment because he truly lacks any pride. And pity because I don't like President Han at all; he's heartless and cares little for his workers.

My main concern is the length of the drama and how it will affect the story progression. How do they plan to address the character's stories (especially Heera's as she is the most unexplored out of the three leads) and the main plot within an 8 episode drama when each run is about 40 minutes?

ALSO, Gil Yong is an absolute sweetheart despite the crap life throws at him. I really wish he can find a lasting friendship in Jeong Jin - he seems so lonely. His small crush on her is so cute.

Liked the first two episodes well enough. The genre seems to be on the dark fantasy side - with good CGI - but…
I will need more of Jo Hee Ra's backstory to understand why she chooses to fulfil wishes the way she does. I think killing the woman who conned Jeong Jin and her mother was wrong, and even if she harboured such a wish, it should have been made explicit on Jeong Jin's end. Calling her a hypocrite was uncalled for since not each time what we wish is ACTUALLY what we want to happen.

Liked the first two episodes well enough. The genre seems to be on the dark fantasy side - with good CGI - but it is not unique in concept; it's a dark version of Mystic Pop Up Bar, though the lore is different. I have so far taken an instant liking to Jeong Jin and Gil Yong. It will take time to warm up to The Witch herself and her motivations.

I feel like he will end up doing something about HSK. And I feel the opposite about SHS. I can see why he chooses…
Oh yes, I think he mentioned he didn't care much because doing his best did not bring much advantage to him, only to the company. Which I totally get lol. The view is completely opposite from Ms Tang's

Damn. Just when you think HSK couldn’t be any more of a shitty person he knowingly fakes the test results with…
I feel like he will end up doing something about HSK. And I feel the opposite about SHS. I can see why he chooses to be the way he is - why put in an effort for a company that may just as well fire you?

The only redeemable quality to Se Kwon would have been his weakness being Ms Dang. With the recent turn of events, however, I am almost praying he faces the consequences to his irresponsibility and corruption. Who knows, he may become be less of a jerk by the end of it. But why do I feel Ja Yeong will end up trying to clean up the mess he created... at least for a short while
