This is really nicely directed. I love the way the scenes have been put together. It is suspenseful and the revelations are well timed. The music is very well done.
If the story is not worth it for you, then don't watch. You should not watch any fiction just because of the actors/actresses…
I will keep that in mind :p My question was more geared towards the screentime Lee Joon has, I want to stick around to see him act (he does that really well) but I might drop it if the future eps don't work for me.
What an absolute delight! This is slice of life done right - it was a great balance of heart and fun. The comedy was timed right. I had plenty laugh out loud moments. And don't get me started on the characters! They were not perfect or people you wanted to support , and that's how characters should be written - human, with their flaws.
I wanted to give it a 10. If nothing, watch this for Lee Sun Kyun.
do you guys think that actually Woo Ga-On was the victim? i hope so
I am pretty sure he was pressured into that fight and didn't do the bullying of his own volition. It is pretty telling from the way he desires quiet strength and the mental anguish he is in. A repentant bully would want to make amends; he doesn't.
Seeing Tae In soften up has surprisingly warmed me towards him. I thought it would take time for me. And the softer look / character suits Jun Young so much, I wish he is offered a role of a softer lead soon.
It has many nice moments that wouldn't be so hard to accept had the basis of the relationship not been a lie. I really wish that aspect is cleared soon. We're almost halfway.
Santa is such a memorable character! His eccentricities make him so endearing and unique, in a good way. This is what I appreciate about this drama - it doesn't rely on elaborate pasts to give depth and angle to its characters. While the backstories might be inevitable - what's a kdrama without those, eh? - I don't feel the need to scratch the surface of their stories to be able to appreciate them, especially Santa, someone who has not spoken a single word yet (I'm on ep 5).
Watched the first episode, and I absolutely love how fresh it is! Rarely do you see thrillers be so light and engrossing. And great characters as well! Acting is brilliant, of course. I am really excited to catch up
I also believe that the FL's story was set up to create conflict in the later episodes; she could have easily been a broke psychologist or doctor who got hired to keep low and pretend to treat her patient at the insistence of said patient. That would have certainly made the scenario more acceptable. However, I don't really mind the current state of affairs. This drama was meant to be cheesy and rather immature.
I agree about the acting. Better choices could have been made when casting two side characters, but overall it's fine. Jung In Sun is great, and so is Jun Young and Dong Joo. The comedy is nice, if a bit cheesy. I always have a good laugh at the outrageous things the characters end up doing, particularly the mains.
I wanted to give it a 10. If nothing, watch this for Lee Sun Kyun.
