So far, the set up is that way. But there is a lot of grey area and either could be an antagonist.

Given Seo Jae Won has macabre fantasies of killing her husband to gain custody, I don't trust her to not have gone overboard in the past. However, I am just basing this off of the preview of ep. 5 though.

Unless the husband did it to confuse the wife, so the neighbour would complain to her and she would spiral further.

What does not make sense is the change in attitude of Heo Soon Young with the neighbour. His car was different as well when he planted the documents. I am sure Seo Jae Won missed a detail. The twin is not dead.

It is most definitely the acting. She has taken up many characters before, but Seo Jae Won has a special kind of effect in that she triggers anxiety. I have always been moved by her acting. This time, I am both moved and anxious. I also think the credit partially goes to the director.

I enjoyed the third episode! More revelations on why Jae Won was so indifferent to the cause of her mother's death, though I had my suspicions from the start. She has loved her step father more since she was a child -- for good reason.

I tried to add her to the cast, I am not sure if the request was accepted yet.

I will unabashedly say that Lee Ki Taek and Jang Nara's chemistry is amazing. If the director butchers it...

The frustration with the FL in the comments is... frustrating. Yes, she is messy, unable to think clearly, and panicking -- which is a given. She is a trauma patient. We know she wants everything to be "perfect", and confronting problems means those problems exist. She fears acknowledging them since she does not want what she built for herself to fall apart. How hard is it to digest that, yes, the FL will not be rational because of her own fears and aspirations, and we will watch her fumble and "lose her mind" and authenticity as a narrator, because that is the intent of the writing. That is what makes Seo Jae Won such an interesting character.
