Man, Bo Kyung will have a hard time forgiving herself for trusting a serial killer when it came to her father. But I am glad our legendary detective is responding more!
The tofu scene cracked me up. "Doesn't matter if you get out from the front or the back." Chil Sung, you poor excuse of a gangster, you're one of the best supporting character. I'm counting on you to save your hyungnim!
I'm really loving how crazy this drama gets each episode. My baby Dong Shik is getting smarter now! Dude learned how to properly use the predator card. What an unlikely hero. I'm proud of you, my son :,) I am also lowkey loving the hints of affection between Bo Kyung and Dong Shik. My man may be a bit dense, but he certainly knows how to be lovable
In Woo, take notes: this is how you woo a girl, not by harming the girl's fa--- Better yet, don't woo a girl; I take my words back.
Well, first of all I also blame his surroundings that they didn't take a better care of him after the car accident…
I disagree a little. When Bo Kyung was being selfish, she was still concerned for him; and after their friendship, there was no way she could have helped him because she never knew who he was before he lost his memories. I agree about the family, but, in their defence, they did not have knowledge about his diary or his suicide attempt; yet I think one of the members should have spent a few weeks with him until he attained his sense of identity. I guess, in the end, I think it was something that just happened - all these harmless actions accumulated and became a circumstantial evidence for Dong Shik that ended up supporting what was written in the diary.
I hope the drama shows him seeking help after the chaos settles down, and maintaining only healthy friendships and relationship (hinted so far with Bo Kyung). Like you said, this will be hard to move on from, unless his past memories are powerful enough to help him regain his sense of self - only then can he see this phase of life clearly, which will be instrumental for his psychological healing.
Very well executed, but the k-drama logic when it came to the "murder" is its flaw, along with the writer trying to be a little too smart. Apart from that, it was wonderful, frustrating, and was that close to being a masterpiece. But alas!
Episode 12 was great. It was not rushed at all, and just the right pace to cover every thing about the "conclusion" of the case. Plus, you get to see Bo Kyung being a badass she is. The way she rejected In woo's advances - I had a proud smile on my face, just like her dad did when she decided to not let a certain detective's discouragement get to her. And the fact that she has solved most of the case is, also, badass. Woman knows what she is doing!
I am very shocked to find out that people think that Bo Kyung is stupid or annoying. She is very intuitive and…
Agreed! Those who dislike her are wrongly thinking that Mister Psychopath is sexually interested in Dong Shik. And since Bo Kyung sort of interferes with that fantasy coming true, along with her being a woman (oh, the curse of being a smart female character) who is close to Dong Shik and might be the one to catch the culprit, makes them hate her,
I have never felt so sad for someone as I feel for Dong Shik. All jokes aside, he is going through a severe identity crisis, and that is so unfortunate. The scene where he was crying and talking to himself while looking in the mirror in the recent episode broke my heart. His vulnerable mental state when he read the diary the first time has caused such damage that it seems almost irreversible. Had he not been depressed when he lost his memories, I think these events would not have occurred. But then, this drama would not have existed
