Better:D I just rewatched '88 and yeah it was good, very good. But still the weakest out of Reply series.
Ok, I've rewatched '97 and I got what they mean. I don't know, maybe I grew old ;D but this series has the least of family/very close friends relations content and at the beginning they act like 14yo - really. Do teenagers are less smart every decade?:D Few (like 5?) last episodes were kinda blank, nothing was really happening, only wating for main couple to get together... It was my first Reply's serie and for very long time fav, but I think I'm gonna switch.
just watched the first episode... I must say it wasn't as interesting and as appealing as I thought it would be…
While watching first ep I put it on "on hold" list because I wasn't hooked in and I thought "maybe later". But then it somehow became quite interesting and I've finished 2nd ep at 1 am;) I wonder if only I hear (read too;D) UnicoRn?XD
Somehow I couldn't have gotten into it... I mean yeah it was sometimes quite funny, but not to be called a great comedy tbh. The most irritating and confusing thing was main lead. It didn't feel like he was bisexual at all. His indecisiveness and not knowing what "dating" is, only agreeing to it in purpose of not losing a housekeeper (maybe to be "nice" also), was getting on my nerve for all the time. And he was 33 yo, not a teenager. I don't think this drama pointed any serious matter. I love j-dramas for that they are capable of hinting core points in human emotions. But that one was shallow.
"A cat that vegetated in the cold under a roofing~ taught me the meaning of love~"
I would have gave it 0 (so bad). But I gave it 2 because the two main leads were super cuteXD Other than that there's nothing in this movie. Literally just nothing. And it last for 1,5h.
I think there's a mistake. It wasn't abortion but miscarriage.
Very violent relation between the siblings. I can understand fighting and cursing at each other but hitting and leaving bruises all over their faces? What (caring) brother would have hit his sister with a fist like that? However I can kinda justify this thread after knowing the film was based on a novel from 1934.
I liked Masakazu's story and Akane-chan too. School parts with Yamaji were also insteresting. However it made me sick how everyone for all the time (through the whole drama) was making jokes about "Yamaji's virgin"and pointing that few times in every episode... After all I'm surprised to see high notes (for opening song maybe?).
I've found it on list with gay movies/dramas and I was decieved v_v I'm not into harem content it looks to me that this drama is about nothing, almost no storyline. Only chin rapping boy was a little funnyXD
Today we'd call it a sex addicts. The story was based on true criminal history (the woman spend 6 years in prison). For me the middle the movie (and slightly after that) dragged a little on. The ending (which I didn't know before watching) was intersting :D I don't understand the scene when Sada was lying on some wooden tables(?) and two kids are running around. Fake blood clashed for me:/
Surley, if you start to watch it you should know what to expect. I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece nor a plotless porn. I can't agree with a reviewer's opinion that they for sure led a naive, poor woman to play the Sada, because all she wanted was famous. I haven't heard that she was mislead or decived in any way. It's not the as the female's role in "Last tango in Paris".
I loved the first story about women's look. I hope people finally learn how fucked up is that, to commenting, ridiculing and dictating how a woman should look/be/do. The last story was really frightening. Mostly because it's based on facts.

Horrible acting, stupid plot and awful camera working...
Don't watch it!
