Happy Birthday! π Looking forward to the next couple of dramas featuring this guy, he has such an appealing face and seems to be doing well honing his acting skills even further!
Didn't realize that our adorable foxy guy Mu Jiu was going to be in this! He comes across as so energetic and delightful in his roles. What a great cast, just hope the ending will get a little time to unfold and not be rushed.
WXY's face and charisma needs to be studied. Like in these dramas, I completely forget his age. It's when I see…
Yes, it's very interesting how much maturity he is able to project! Some combination of acting skills and having a more "serious" looking facial structure with strong and prominent features, I suppose.
I'm completely in love with the visuals of FL and ML, my god. Cheng Lei in those dark flowing robes with long hair and Wang Churan in that sort of fantasy demon princess makeup and delicate dangling jewelry, just amazing.
One of the funnier versions of this trope. ML and FL both good and very well-suited to their roles, easy watch and great to just chill and laugh a little.
Surprisingly decent. It's slap-stick silly and the humor is quite in line with My Uncanny Destiny, but the plot and acting are actually pretty good. Costumes and general aesthetic are eye-catching. I like these characters and can cheer for them. The audio does peak sometimes as other reviewers mentioned and it's a little distracting when it happens.
Sweet and at least a little funny. Several likable characters and decent acting, story nothing new but pretty well done for a medium/short drama. The excessive makeup on ML and FL is slightly distracting because they are both gorgeous and don't need so much, didn't really ruin it for me though. ML actually smiles like a normal human when he looks at the woman he loves, what a nice surprise! The FL has a super endearing face and I kind of want to hug her. She stuck to her real personality through everything and stood up for herself, I enjoyed that. Her father was great and their scenes together were adorable.
Actually quite an enjoyable watch. Yan Zi Xian's style of humor just works for me somehow, he is goofy and weird but still adorable. His facial expressions crack me up sometimes and I thought he played well off the FL in their scenes. I liked the ML and FL and their chemistry was decent, costumes were pretty good, plot more or less made sense for this type of drama. I giggled a lot and would recommend if you're in the mood for something that doesn't take itself too seriously.
These things are highly subjective, but I actually like TSY's voice. I am not only unbothered by it, but pretty fond of it? I dunno. There are actresses whose voices do annoy me, so I can sympathize with those people, but she did a great job on this in my opinion.
The Rong family ancestral hall is awesome! The pillars are so gorgeous and the music playing when Shanbao explains about them gave me goosebumps. I'd love to just walk around on the various sets of this show and get a good look at all the stuff they used.
Omg, i love xy's shamelessness haha. She's not shy at all joking and complimenting Hy's handsome appearance. I…
During that other scene on the roof where she's drunkenly rambling about how gorgeous his face is from different angles, I was nodding along like... Yep, here's a woman with good eyesight and relatable taste. π
