It’s not a BL only trope “connection from childhood”. it’s a regular on pretty much every Thai, Korean and Chinese drama from what I noticed. I guess they just have to have it, otherwise they won’t be approved to film 🤷‍♀️ I’ve already put up with it 🤦‍♀️

Same here! I really liked Neo since FUTS, and I wished for a couple of series since then that he’d get a chance to play something other than a goofy character, and then it happened with Tge Eclipse where he was serious and so handsome 😊Then finally this, where he can flex his acting with a less than spectacular character, but playing someone like Boston takes a lot! And Neo nailed it - just look at all the comments about that crappy Boston! 😂
I, too, am happy for Mark. His lead role was long overdue. His character is also nothing like nice, good-natured boys he used to play. Good for him! He’s awesome as Nick! 😻

But speaking of Boston being a nasty piece of crap, how awesome of an actor Neo is! 👏🏻I’m so happy he gets to play different characters with his recent series! He’s growing so much in his skill! The more I resent Boston, the more I respect and like Neo - great job! 👍
Also, Mark here is wonderful - his Nick is gorgeous and smart (if you don’t count falling for a nasty person of course). He knows what he’s dealing with and takes it on with resourcefulness and strength I rarely see in dramas. I love just watching both actors! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It does look like Kang is scared of his dad. If his father was really all fun and giggles - why is he tensing up like that every time he speaks to his dad, like he’s expecting to be hit? If daddy was all easygoing, Kang would be at ease with him. 🤷‍♀️

For now, the only hidden agenda that might piss Zo off to that extent is if Nita paid Joke to join Dispute club and distract Zo so that she would definitely win that exotic Finland semester (or whatever the prize is). 😁

I really like Nathee/Florence dynamic - so funny and great chemistry! I think Aye is perfectly walking that fine line between naive light hearted girl who’s trying to get her crush and a pure stalker. If she was just a tad “heavier” on the mood - I would be scared for Nathee! But as I said - she’s perfect in this role and very cute. Luke as Nathee is a lot of fun with his “stop bothering me” reactions - I loved his little growl and scowl when he saw Florence at their table! Just like a wolf would do! Very nice job!
I also liked Leo (young Nathee) - he got Luke’s Nathee gestures to a point where I had to do a double take to make sure it’s a different actor indeed. Great job! Can’t wait to see the next episodes! 👏🏻

I am so relieved that it was a miscommunication and not just plain master/slave relationship. Even though Yoh accepted the offer and to him it could be an acceptable dynamic, it’s just so not my cup of tea I was debating if I should even watch the 2nd episode. I’m so glad I did! 😻

I guess here the “hierarchy” is based strictly on money, while in some other series it’s based on physical strength. So Kang and his buddies look as average as anyone around them. Nobody will physically challenge them anyway 🤷‍♀️

I do live in the US. I don’t know French, but my relatives understand written language. My other relatives are fluent in Spanish. We all are pretty good with English and Ukrainian with native language being Russian. It’s up to everyone to learn another language or not - it’s a personal choice. With business dealings abroad it would make sense to me to learn a bit of a language. I’m not saying anything about being fluent, but just some commonly used phrases and words at least. If I were to visit France I would learn some phrases for sure. Again, it’s just my opinion 😉

Put it this way - they are closer to each other than, say, to Norway. To me, it’s not necessary to have a common border to be neighbors. Also, I think it makes sense to know at least a bit of a conversational language of some countries in a proximity, even without sharing a border 😉Especially if you want to have business there. And media stars certainly want to have as much business world wide as possible (at least, I think so) 🤔

I fully understand that coming out is extremely hard. That’s why I’m not even implying he should come out. Just say “I don’t want to get married”, move abroad and live however you are pleased. If parents figure out on their own he’s gay - great. 🤷‍♀️

I have a feeling that Lom’s daddy is in on their game. I still don’t understand why not just tell the parents they are not getting married, go live and work abroad like so many well-off people do, and live your life 🤷‍♀️ The whole main conflict seems blown out of proportion and not worth the paper it was written on. I really like this show, even the fact that the stories are developing very fast is ok with me. They got such good actors and actresses here, and the overall plot is intriguing. I’m very interested in Hunter - who is he, why did he decide to open this special bar in this secluded place, why is he keeping the Jungle boys safe? I would even say, he’s herding them 🤷‍♀️ Honestly, if my name was something like Tiger, I would be very careful with someone whose name is Hunter 😂 Just saying… 😉
