I enjoyed the first two episodes a lot! Very nice start with cute leads and pretty interesting plot - I do love supernatural stuff! 😻 Now, I wonder why Jiang Chi fell out of his powerful father’s grace. He’s still attending a law faculty, so it can’t be that. Besides his sexual orientation which we don’t know about yet - could be multiple other things, and it will be interesting for me to see. Also, Bu Xia told his sister that she looks more and more like a guy. I wonder, is this her personal preference, or it’s because she’s heading a family business that would normally be headed by a man? I’m really interested in the next episodes 🤩
The phrase means that if Patts can't understand WHY Tai is silent, he's not capable of understanding whatever…
Thank you 😊 I really enjoy exploring different viewpoints. We all have different experience and therefore different expectations from the relationship. I mean, what we can or cannot live with in our partner. Like, for me lying is a full stop, while for you it’s controlling behavior. I have to say that I don’t mind controlling behavior all that much - of course, depending on a level. I’m not talking about stalking and creepy stuff 😂 Again, I am so calm and in control - I don’t think I am interesting enough for people who enjoy obsessing over their partner 😂 And thank god for that! 😉 Anyway, I do hope the rest of this series resolves the issues somehow - the idea was interesting at least. I would love for the series to explore more what makes different people “tick” and represent that in a way that would help us understand each other better. Show proper communication and resolution of issues - that would be nice 😊 Have a great weekend! 🥂☺️
The phrase means that if Patts can't understand WHY Tai is silent, he's not capable of understanding whatever…
I appreciate your reply, thank you for a nice conversation 😊 I agree that communication is a must in a relationship, and different people have different experience and communicate on different levels, especially when upset. To me, it seems like Patts is extremely upset and needs reassurance from his boyfriend who lied to him right away. He has no patience to wait, he feels threatened by Lomfon’s actions and by Tai’s lying. In turn, Tai has a lot to unpack from this whole situation plus his hearing condition changing. He needs space. I get all that, and I have said before that I don’t like the writing on Patts in this situation - it’s way out of his character to behave like this. With all that said, let me explain why I reacted harshly to Tai lying to his boyfriend. I am a very calm person, it’s extremely hard to offend me. One of the very few things I don’t tolerate at all in a relationship is lying. Especially unwarranted lies. I would probably not punch Lomfon, but just break up with Tai right on the spot. I wouldn’t care about his reasoning for lying as I believe I am a reasonable person and anything can be discussed beforehand. Therefore no need to lie to me. I can’t trust that person ever again, and I honestly warn about it at the start of a relationship. Of course, this is a drama so they needed a little something to spice it up - I get it. I’m just saying it just hit me hard on behalf of Patts. That’s all. Happy watching! 😊
I actually do understand Pat's reasons here. Ever since Jeng told Pat he liked him, Pat felt like he was getting…
Yeah, I am not a fan of large time skips. With only final episode left, though, I will see how they finish it up. I have a suspicion they will create some sort of a tease for Jaab and Jen couple as a 2nd season. We’ll see 😉
I actually do understand Pat's reasons here. Ever since Jeng told Pat he liked him, Pat felt like he was getting…
Yes, I saw someone who read the novel commenting on how different Pat was in the novel - not childish at all. I wonder about that now. And yes, Jaab is a cutie! 😻
Exactly this! I just threw up my hands at this episode.
I didn’t say Tai shouldn’t keep his word to Lomfon. Of course he should - take Lomfon out for a meal. Instead, it turned into a whole day, and he lied about it to his boyfriend. Not once, but twice. That’s the problem, not taking a friend out for a meal. To me, flashbacks where people were talking about Lomfon’s crush on Tai actually showed Tai considering it as in being aware of it. At the time of conversations (like with Bow), he might be not sure. But when all those flashbacks came up bavk to back - that told me he was putting together two and two. So he was aware of the crush, even though not reciprocating. So, lying set off Patts. Btw, about Patts wanting exact words repeated - makes sense to me as Tai was answering using questions. P: Do you love me? T: Don’t you know I love you so much? 🤷♀️ Umm, no, I personally wouldn’t know since you just lied to me twice… just saying 😂 If he just answered a simple yes/no question - it would be so much easier! 😂
I actually do understand Pat's reasons here. Ever since Jeng told Pat he liked him, Pat felt like he was getting…
I totally agree with you. It’s a work situation and it should be discussed with the team. It seems to me Jang selected a few trusted people for the project, so why not openly add his funds to Pat’s good strategy and teach Jang’s daddy a lesson? I think everyone on the team would agree if it was discussed. Jang needs to open up and let go a bit of his controlling habits. Pat has to grow up, preferably in a different company. But it doesn’t mean they had to break up. That was a bit over dramatic to me 🤷♀️
Aye has said that we will see another side of pear from ep 5 onwards and no one is completely angel...which makes…
Oh no, please let me have a normal and nice female character in a BL! 😭 Let’s just bring in some prince on a white Audi (or whatever they are promoting) and take her into the sunset, pleeeease!!! 🥺
Yeah. BL fans puzzle me. So many complaints about the same plotlines, over and over, but when this series tries…
I don’t think Mai stopped because he couldn’t get it up, though. I think he saw Reaow scared and it dawned on him that he shouldn’t be forcing his partner, so he stopped. I seriously dislike this kind of interaction, but at least he stopped. If he proceeded - that would be an automatic drop for me. I honestly don’t remember the grocery scene. Maybe they were playing with the flashback? 🤷♀️
The phrase means that if Patts can't understand WHY Tai is silent, he's not capable of understanding whatever…
You’re right, Tai had a lot to unpack, and all he had to do is to reassure his boyfriend and tell him that. Why reassure? Because Tai lied to him repeatedly that day without any reason for it. We saw Patts’ exaggerated anger (and I dislike this writing btw) only now, after the lying and a kiss. Before that, Patts has always been calm and nice, so there was no precedent for Tai to not simply say “I promised Lomfon a meal, and we’ll be hanging out”. So, Patts is really in a disarray as well and needs an apology and reassurance. But somehow his feelings don’t count to Tai 🤷♀️ In this situation, I think it’s Tai who’s gaslighting Patts into a guilt trip. Also, I don’t think Patts should be disclosing Lomfon’s condition as it’s a medical condition and it’s not his place to reveal it. So besides out of character anger outburst (for a good reason) I don’t see any fault with Patts.
Exactly this! I just threw up my hands at this episode.
Exactly! Tai was fully aware of Lomfon crushing on him and still chose to spend a whole day with him, lying to his boyfriend about it. And really, if they all can hear each other - they are all soulmates, right? So they can all be one happy family! I think instead of “soulmate” it should be “radiomate” - that’s what they essentially are, sharing the same radio wave. Then, there are no romantic expectations and you can host a talk show on a rainy day with all your mates 😉
I feel like a lot of people (ironically) misunderstood the phrase "If you can't understand my silence, you won't…
I still believe if Tai needed time to think - he should say so. Not “I think you should go home” - that’s not constructive at all and vague as hell. But “I love you, and I need some space to think. Let’s meet tomorrow and talk”. That’s in addition to an apology for lying, of course. But that’s just me 🤷♀️ I don’t think Patts should tell Tai about Lomfon, btw. It’s not his place to share this information. Lomfon should tell Tai himself. And that’s what Lomfon was trying to do, and it would be fine without all that “you’re my first love”+kiss. Again, just my opinion from personal experience 😉
The phrase means that if Patts can't understand WHY Tai is silent, he's not capable of understanding whatever…
Either way, it’s much better to communicate and explain what you are upset about than to be silent and demand your partner to decode your feelings 🤷♀️ I know because I used to be a master of silent treatment, and I confirm - it doesn’t solve shit! 😉
I wonder who came up with such a “wonderful” phrase like “If you can’t understand my silence, you won’t understand my words”. 🤦♀️ Dude, I bet it’s much, much easier to understand words than silence - of course, if you’re not going over some rocket science formulas. Then, in my case, please just let’s do silence 😉 I really don’t understand why the writers would trash 3 characters in one swoop? I get it that Lomfon is confused with the whole destiny/science, looked up his weather app and chose a rainy Sunday to check out his theory. Good thinking! But what’s up with “you saved me so you’re my first love let’s kiss”? 🙀 Next up - Patts. He’s rightfully pissed, but turning into someone violent and rudely demanding - that’s out of his character we’ve seen so far. Again, I don’t mind him kicking Lomfon’s ass, but Patts I have seen so far would probably hit him once, tell him to stay away and try to figure out what’s up with Tai in a much more composed manner. Especially given Patts himself was just kissed in the same way. Now, Tai 😡 All I could think of was “WTF, man? You lied, you are in a compromising situation, and you give your boyfriend a silent treatment?”
Yeah. BL fans puzzle me. So many complaints about the same plotlines, over and over, but when this series tries…
I actually appreciated the different story and gave a high score for that attempt to break out of a “regular” BL plot. Could it be executed better based on the given idea? Sure. But I am happy to just have a twist I honestly didn’t expect. I’m easy like that 😻
Kram the bestie gives off psycho vibes - he’s a good actor on the job, smiles when he thinks he should (but not always in the correct situation), can’t feel any remorse, absolutely sure in his charm and thinks it’s impossible for Rak to not forgive him. I would be extremely cautious of him.
Now, I wonder why Jiang Chi fell out of his powerful father’s grace. He’s still attending a law faculty, so it can’t be that. Besides his sexual orientation which we don’t know about yet - could be multiple other things, and it will be interesting for me to see.
