I get some of what you're saying, but the subtitles were faulty at one point - Yiwa said she'd been with Lom for…
You’re right - 2 years is a much shorter time. Nevertheless, it’s still a decent chunk of time.
Of course, Marine figured out that Lom is gay from everything Yiwa was mentioning about him, and she’s not threatened. She’s still not thrilled with her partner marrying someone else and being legally bound in the eyes of society to that person. About having a kid - why wouldn’t Yiwa’s family nag her about that just like they nagged her about the wedding? Of course they would. And what will Yiwa do about it if she can’t say no to them? If she can’t confront her family on such important matter as marriage - will she ever confront them on anything? She’s a fully functioning adult with a stable job. If she really cared for Marine, she would refuse the wedding. I’m not saying she should come out right away - that’s really hard, but at least stand her ground with “leave me alone, I am not marrying anyone”. It would be impossible for me personally to be with someone like Yiwa who’s doing marriage just to appease her parents. Just my personal take on it 😊
I’m not even sure why I bother watching this anymore. I’m really close to dropping it. Considering the author - not surprised. I can’t root for any of the characters. Lom is a selfish jerk who can’t say no to his mommy but somehow feels ok to torture the person he supposedly likes with all the mixed signals, making Nuea feel like a home wracker and a side piece 🤦♀️ Nuea at least honestly tried to avoid Lom for a whopping week, then accepted a kiss 🤷♀️ I don’t know how many people wouldn’t be like “fuck off” after the first kiss in the locker room. But ok, whatever. Yiwa is in the same “adult who can’t say no to her parents” boat, right along with her fiancé. She’s been with a woman for 2 years and still has no respect for her partner. Marine seems like a pushover with no self respect. So no wonder Yiwa is not worried about Marine leaving her, no matter what she does. I hope Marine understands that next step in Yiwa’s family will be “you have to have a kid with your husband”. Anyway, I should have known better. My own damn fault. 🤦♀️
P.S.: I have corrected the amount of time Yiwa spent with Marine, thank you all for correcting me 😊
My only complain is it just kind of abruptly end for the villain. Like what happen to him? Was he removed from…
I understand he was fired by the company and probably had to pay for the breach of contract since his boss mentioned how much money he spent on training him. So he really got it bad as he should. His teammates were also furious since they spent years in training, finally debuted and now their group was in the middle of a huge scandal. I hope they got through it. Training is no joke there - you have to be super dedicated and determined.
Loved this series! Interesting, fresh story and great chemistry between all the characters. I really liked the band members warmth towards each other, second couple was lovely and funny, and of course main couple treated us to lots of fluff and even a nice kiss! The “villain” did his job perfectly fine, too. The writers even showed so nicely how egocentric the dude was - he didn’t even realize what he did wrong! Masterful!
Music was wonderful as it should be given the topic, but I liked the songs a lot! Will be looking for them now.
I really hope Chalarm will be a part of the main couple for the next “buddy line” chapter. To me, he’s the cutest and funniest here. I wouldn’t mind him pairing up with Suea 😉
Sure. Like they are ahving an arranged marrige and then they both will have side chicks? Wont ppl know about that?…
Well, if they live far from their families and all formalities are done with, it could work. Especially, if their families care more about business side of it than actual relationship. Unless there’s a huge scandal - they’ll never know. 🤷♀️
Before I put this out there, I think Hyeonng-Jin is a narcissist and an a-hole, but can someone who understands…
I really don’t understand what HJ did beyond “friends hanging out” that required such thorough explanation 🤷♀️ Like, they went to CW’s house, played with his cute dog and listened to CW’s music. So? What’s so groundbreaking for HJ? I would get it if they heavily made out and HJ doesn’t want the commitment. But in this case I think it was unnecessary and rude.
Nooo. Leave my baby alone. He's too scared 🥲Haha 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nope, it’s not nice to hurt poor ghosts’ feelings! What kind of customer service is that? I hope Bu Xia doesn’t encounter some ghost Karen who will demand to talk to the manager! 🤣
Why is Bu Xia hurting poor ghosts’ feelings like that? 🥺 Imagine, if you had to report something important, you finally found a cafe with less shitty wifi, used a very expensive VPN, logged into your grainy zoom meeting, ready to report. Now, your team lead gives you a nasty side eye and says: “OMG, dude, you look like shit, I don’t want to talk to you” and kicks you out of the meeting! 😳 Well, Bu Xia, how would you feel? 🙁
I enjoyed the first two episodes a lot! Very nice start with cute leads and pretty interesting plot - I do love supernatural stuff! 😻 Now, I wonder why Jiang Chi fell out of his powerful father’s grace. He’s still attending a law faculty, so it can’t be that. Besides his sexual orientation which we don’t know about yet - could be multiple other things, and it will be interesting for me to see. Also, Bu Xia told his sister that she looks more and more like a guy. I wonder, is this her personal preference, or it’s because she’s heading a family business that would normally be headed by a man? I’m really interested in the next episodes 🤩
The phrase means that if Patts can't understand WHY Tai is silent, he's not capable of understanding whatever…
Thank you 😊 I really enjoy exploring different viewpoints. We all have different experience and therefore different expectations from the relationship. I mean, what we can or cannot live with in our partner. Like, for me lying is a full stop, while for you it’s controlling behavior. I have to say that I don’t mind controlling behavior all that much - of course, depending on a level. I’m not talking about stalking and creepy stuff 😂 Again, I am so calm and in control - I don’t think I am interesting enough for people who enjoy obsessing over their partner 😂 And thank god for that! 😉 Anyway, I do hope the rest of this series resolves the issues somehow - the idea was interesting at least. I would love for the series to explore more what makes different people “tick” and represent that in a way that would help us understand each other better. Show proper communication and resolution of issues - that would be nice 😊 Have a great weekend! 🥂☺️
The phrase means that if Patts can't understand WHY Tai is silent, he's not capable of understanding whatever…
I appreciate your reply, thank you for a nice conversation 😊 I agree that communication is a must in a relationship, and different people have different experience and communicate on different levels, especially when upset. To me, it seems like Patts is extremely upset and needs reassurance from his boyfriend who lied to him right away. He has no patience to wait, he feels threatened by Lomfon’s actions and by Tai’s lying. In turn, Tai has a lot to unpack from this whole situation plus his hearing condition changing. He needs space. I get all that, and I have said before that I don’t like the writing on Patts in this situation - it’s way out of his character to behave like this. With all that said, let me explain why I reacted harshly to Tai lying to his boyfriend. I am a very calm person, it’s extremely hard to offend me. One of the very few things I don’t tolerate at all in a relationship is lying. Especially unwarranted lies. I would probably not punch Lomfon, but just break up with Tai right on the spot. I wouldn’t care about his reasoning for lying as I believe I am a reasonable person and anything can be discussed beforehand. Therefore no need to lie to me. I can’t trust that person ever again, and I honestly warn about it at the start of a relationship. Of course, this is a drama so they needed a little something to spice it up - I get it. I’m just saying it just hit me hard on behalf of Patts. That’s all. Happy watching! 😊
I actually do understand Pat's reasons here. Ever since Jeng told Pat he liked him, Pat felt like he was getting…
Yeah, I am not a fan of large time skips. With only final episode left, though, I will see how they finish it up. I have a suspicion they will create some sort of a tease for Jaab and Jen couple as a 2nd season. We’ll see 😉
I actually do understand Pat's reasons here. Ever since Jeng told Pat he liked him, Pat felt like he was getting…
Yes, I saw someone who read the novel commenting on how different Pat was in the novel - not childish at all. I wonder about that now. And yes, Jaab is a cutie! 😻
Exactly this! I just threw up my hands at this episode.
I didn’t say Tai shouldn’t keep his word to Lomfon. Of course he should - take Lomfon out for a meal. Instead, it turned into a whole day, and he lied about it to his boyfriend. Not once, but twice. That’s the problem, not taking a friend out for a meal. To me, flashbacks where people were talking about Lomfon’s crush on Tai actually showed Tai considering it as in being aware of it. At the time of conversations (like with Bow), he might be not sure. But when all those flashbacks came up bavk to back - that told me he was putting together two and two. So he was aware of the crush, even though not reciprocating. So, lying set off Patts. Btw, about Patts wanting exact words repeated - makes sense to me as Tai was answering using questions. P: Do you love me? T: Don’t you know I love you so much? 🤷♀️ Umm, no, I personally wouldn’t know since you just lied to me twice… just saying 😂 If he just answered a simple yes/no question - it would be so much easier! 😂

I totally agree with you. It’s a work situation and it should be discussed with the team. It seems to me Jang selected a few trusted people for the project, so why not openly add his funds to Pat’s good strategy and teach Jang’s daddy a lesson? I think everyone on the team would agree if it was discussed. Jang needs to open up and let go a bit of his controlling habits. Pat has to grow up, preferably in a different company. But it doesn’t mean they had to break up. That was a bit over dramatic to me 🤷♀️
