The funniest thing to me is that this show has been promoted as “sexy stuff”, but the novel has very few sex scenes. And the ones that are present are done very haphazardly and awkwardly, or it’s a bad translation, I don’t know. Everything except for sex scenes is translated fine, though.
Amazon English version has “his middle body part” all over the place. After some deliberation on which body part that might be (depending on a guy’s proportions), I decided it’s probably his dick 🤔
So, the novel is really more about their feelings and circumstances than a smutty thing like, say, Big Dragon. 🤷‍♀️
So if in Big Dragon they had to invent a plot out of smut, here they have an opposite task 😂
I do enjoy the novel and I am curious to see what they do with the series.

Actually, as far as I remember, in the novel it did take them longer than usual because of a bad traffic. That’s why Uea’s mom was bitching about him “taking so long”. They should have mentioned the traffic here, too, then it would make more sense.

I’d never thought I would be saying this about a high school BL, but this one exceeded all my expectations! Acting, plot, music, makeup, hair, even SUBTITLES were excellent, covering speech, songs and written messages - greatly appreciated! 😻
I feel for upcoming BLs that have to keep in mind the bar MSP set 😂
