This is an old and very frustrating trope in BLs and I personally am really tired of it, and I do voice my opinion every time I see it happening. So do others. I do hope they leave this trope in the past the sooner the better as these females are not very realistic - at least, not to me.
So, I am not disputing that you saw any positive comments about those female characters, I’m saying that I have never seen one 😉
Btw, I don’t like this type of character no matter their gender. And I did comment on that for both straight and BL dramas. I base my opinion on my life experience, and while I have seen guys who couldn’t take no for an answer, I have yet to see a woman like that 😂 That’s what makes it particularly annoying for me - I understand that they probably exist somewhere, but they are too rare to be showcased in almost every drama as something common 🤷‍♀️

But somehow, I think they’ll show us how wonderful the chairman was to Liang, sponsoring him in the orphanage and letting Liang work close to him, having a better relationship with Liang than with his own son. So Liang just got to where he is because of luck and great work ethic, being all around a wonderful poster child of the late chairman. He forgives his employees for their small mishaps because he’s just a good guy, and he just wants the best for the company and for Hai Yi, pushing him a bit in the right direction. 🙄

Exactly! I was actually expecting Liang as a more mature person to offer Hai Yi to be his CEO and help him get ready for his position - if he wants it. But now, all of a sudden Liang wants the position? Kind of out of character. 🤷‍♀️
Then again - I am not sure about his character. Based on his actions so far - there’s not much of a character… oh well…

Agree with everything you said. I was so puzzled throughout the episode.
- Why can’t Hai Yi be an owner of the company and live his life off of the profit while Liang can be CEO actually working?
- Why didn’t Johnny put two and two together and never asked how did Hai Yi become a chairman? I mean, it’s clear that something had to happen to his father, right? If you are in love with the person, don’t you have that question?
- Why did Liang need Tony so much that he’s ok with his attempted murder of his own boyfriend? What about the other employees who participated in it? Nothing? Okay…
Anyway, let’s see what happens next… 😔

I had the same impression about Shogun from the preview. I guess he agreed to play with Matteo out of obligation and he’s actually scared and definitely not into the play, even though he’s not the one to be whipped. Even if we wanted to experiment, not everyone can or wants to be a dom (or a sub). So I think Matteo is out of luck finding a dom for himself, at least for now 🤷‍♀️

Theoretically, yes. Practically, you know some kids mature earlier than others - some mentally, and some physically. I guess in the series Matteo is about 17-18 since he’s a school president. He already has his secret closet built, so he probably started having sex and realized his kink much earlier. Maybe 14-15. Is it great for him? Not necessarily, but the fact is - some kids start having sex even earlier than that and there’s nothing to stop them, especially if parents are not around and they have money. So, if he realized what he wants earlier in life - whatever. As long as he’s protected and healthy. Also, in different cultures 16-17 is not a child anymore. In this particular series, the actor playing Matteo is 20 and he looks it, so I don’t see him as a 17yo, although I understand he plays one .
Again, I wish they didn’t use BDSM in this series as it’s really a bit early for most kids this age, but maybe they decided to show an outlier? 🤷‍♀️

Honestly, I was fully expecting Nueng to withdraw the money knowing his uncle’s people would be after him within a couple of hours. Then, while he’s talking to the loan shark, his uncle’s guys show up, gangsters and uncle’s dudes shoot each other, Nueng picks up his money and leaves. 😂
In case his uncle is a decent guy, he would get the cops involved. So, cops show up, Nueng tells them that the gangsters kidnapped him, cops arrest the gangsters, Nueng picks up his money and leaves 😉
But he just talked the loan shark into letting him go - good job not using violence (unlike me 🥴) 😁
Oh, forgot about Palm’s mom - either way, she can get home by herself 😉
