No, no - it wasn’t Nueng’s speech that woke up mom. Remember, it was the magic washcloth! 🙏 Now we know…
Yes, imagine the break through in medical field! Hospitals should get rid of expensive equipment and buy washcloths - I think one per floor would be sufficient. As long as it’s still wet, it should be fine to treat everyone - from broken legs to hemorrhoids, right? By the end of the day either you have the whole floor healthy, or they all end up with the same symptoms 😂 Either way, much cheaper to treat 👌
It's a Japanese thing, luv. In Japan, people don't get to call others by their given name, only by family name.…
Yes, I noticed the name order in Japanese, Korean and Chinese dramas. It’s really interesting to me how various cultures have different “simple things” that you grow up with, so they are seemingly “set in stone” 😂 And then you encounter a totally different culture and their “set in stone” things, and that takes a minute to process 😉 But that’s what makes it so interesting to discover those things 🤩

Oh, ok, so it’s not automatically calling your lover by their first name once you get to the bf/gf stage. Thank you so much! I love learning about other cultures, especially from people who know the culture 😊

Thank you for replying 😊 Yes, I noticed that in Japanese shows, that’s why at first I thought it was their normal thing to do. But then Toru and Ryo are lovers, just like you said, and Ryo himself is puzzled why Toru wouldn’t call him by his given name. That’s where my confusion came from - so, Toru doesn’t think they are “close enough”? While he obviously is “close enough” with his ex? It just didn’t feel fair to Ryo who’s not feeling confident about their relationship because of it. I still have to watch couple of most recent episodes - maybe they’ll get somewhere in those episodes 😊
I was aghast by that bitch’s audacity to demand money after the homophobic slurs to her child. Lock that bitch…
She’s always hated her son, so him being gay was just an icing on the cake. It wasn’t like she turned from a loving mother into a monster just because she’s homophobic. She’s been a monster from the beginning. It’s just that now she’s a homophobic monster. 😡
Can we not do this again? People drink and have sex all the time It's fine unless someone is unresponsive. Most…
No problem! 😊 I’m glad you might change your mind about Uea. He really is a good guy! They both are good guys actually, but Uea is very cautious around people (again, good reasons) and King is very playful. Hopefully, they will balance each other out 😉 I haven’t finished the novel yet and I am hoping for a happy end 😻

I’m reading a novel, and while I agree that a novel and a series can be totally different, I think they should show the characters better. Uea is really not a narcissistic dick, and he’s absolutely aware of his sexuality and not ashamed of it. He actually was interested in King when he came over at the bar, up until King’s boy found King (in the novel, it was a girl). So King was trying to hook up with Uea while he came with someone else. That completely turned Uea off. He just despises players (with a good reason), and King is indeed a player. So I hope they will give characters more depth in the next episodes as I definitely can see why you thought Uea is a self-absorbed dick and King is a sweet dude. I mean, I like King, but I like Uea as well and I hope they show his character correctly.
The character introduction was abysmal, like, show me their personalities, don't tell me oh this guy is a playboy…
Unfortunately, Uea does have a reason for his strong aversion to players, but they didn’t show it. I agree - it would be better if they gave the explanation. You shouldn’t have to read a novel before watching the series. I just prefer reading, so if I can find a novel - I read it 😊
so Uea's mom is a bitch about him being gay but not a bitch when she wants money from his salary! #fuckedupparent
Yes, she’s an absolute abomination. I’m reading a novel and while I just recently started, I am ready to kick her ass. I wish Uea told her that her daughter is her and her husband’s responsibility, not his. I bet she just spends his money without telling her husband. I’m sure she gets enough money for her daughter from her husband. 😡

Apparently, nobody ever wiped her off for all those weeks! 🙀

I bought English version on Amazon. They also have Middleman’s Love ❤️
