I want to see ML having anxiety attacks or some type of mental and emotional breakdown so I can understand what’s going through his mind. maybe some finger fidgeting. I need to know so I can understand the gravity of the conflict within his home SO THAT I can invest in the conflict in his home. but the scene where he pulled the knife out from the fruits I was like wait what? this level headed male since episode one just did something highly uncharacteristic.

ALL OF DIS. literally all of what you said 💯my goodness thank you for putting it into words. the early on infatuation was weird af. you’re so right about how why this kid had such an impact on her, he didn’t seem to be anything special. she was too obsessed it felt odd to watch. I think I myself needed more clarity and depth as to WHY she was so infatuated with him. and esp when they reunited - OVERLY ROMANTIC INDEED. omg. yes. somewhat offputting to me tbh

I see. I’m one of those who think zlh looks too mature for this drama. I guess maybe it really is his character that demands this of him. but as a fan, I wish this role was more student-like and less mature. we already know how he acts as an adult. I really was hoping to see him as a carefree student so I can see his acting range
I gotta agree. he looks relatively much older than the other students. but I also feel like it isn’t even just his looks. the FL still fidgets like a young girl - she’s acting like a young girl. ZLH (and maybe this his character) he looks too mature and secure to play a child-like hs student. I mean if that’s his character that’s fine, I didn’t read novel so I don’t know. but the discrepancy does bother me a bit

can’t speak for others but ZLH’s face card is too captivating and I have no doubts that some people including myself, are literally watching this in hopes of seeing him onscreen. it’s also his first time in a while playing a hs character so I’d like to see how he’s grown as an actor and how he executes this role after stuff like sokp and lbfad and jty. WELL, hard to see his growth if he’s spending mere seconds in certain episodes. annnnnd tbh, side characters/stories ain’t all that interesting - just my personal opinion. not enough to “bridge the gap”
it also doesn’t help that this drama releases so little episodes each day. so not only does he have little screen time for fans, we also have to wait and wait for like 1-2 episodes with each passing day. it feels a little frustrating. like ep 7 had very little and the word is, a whole 24h later, 8 has less. so it’s like
