Didnt read the novel but i've been reading comments and many have said Jing's character in the book is much weaker and comes across as less desirable - so much so that the character was not highly sought after by big name actors. However, Jing in the drama seems to be much stronger and still favored. For the novel readers, is it because the producers are changing his story in the drama? Is it Deng Wei's acting? OR is Jing portrayed exactly the same as in book and drama?
i just finds c-stans hilarious. the beggar comment took me out. only them are averse to their actors actually…
Why is Deng Wei getting hate? I've been seeing people talking about how he doesnt deserve it and such but where is this hate coming from? Saw something about littering a cigarette but Im not sure if that was credible. Not a superfan, I'm just curious so I'm not going to get offended.
Your kiss is sweet. Because you are sweet My baby Jing kissed his queen Xiao! I think I was more happy than them…
I think we were all waiting for Jing to be that man who pulls his woman in. His character is just played so well. We all know he loves her so much but he doesnt allow himself to display just how much that is. Its obvious hes a little self conscious and maybe feels a bit inferior to other men who are interested. He also says he doesnt think hes good enough for her because in his eyes, she's top shelf- cream of the crop- premium quality and hes... broken? :( SO WHEN HE FINALLY ALLOWS HIMSELF TO FALL INTO HER and actually GRABS HER, its such a pleasure to watch. Its almost like a release for all of us. Go Jing. Be the man we all know you are.
Can't believe there's only 9 episodes left this season. Everything just went by so fast. This is one of the most…
I've been dropping a lot of dramas lately. They seem to start off good but towards the middle, it gets kinda draggy. This drama has been so so good which is so refreshing. And so far, I think it's very clear its still on that upwards trajectory.
Deng Wei tearing up recounting the Peach blossom scene 😭😭🤧🤧🤧https://twitter.com/DengWei_OFC/status/1689792925658750976?s=20He…
what in the world why does he look so beautiful in this regular interview. he has this glistening aura about him. I also love his voice, I wish he dubbed himself. voice actor is excellent too but I just prefer actor’s own voices.
Geezums, no wonder Deng Wei looked so drained in the BTS. And it must have been so hard for her to just be swatting…
you’re so right. looking back, I don’t feel like they got a good enough shot of his acting. I was really waiting for it because he performed so beautifully in the prison. I mean, he was still excellent in the fire scene but I wanted a straight close up of his teary face so I could cry harder.
I been at this a long time. I think we all have. identifying the “super happy moments where the couple is blissfully unaware of what’s to come and they got love oozing from their eyes but it’s just the gateway for imminent torment.” I watched that diabetes- inducing episode and told myself, okay. prepare yourself. pain is coming. ITS COMING. I continued forth and yet, nah. I still wasn’t ready. the million petal darts. his search for her with his signature cloud thing. his gaze to the sides and finally upwards at her. the blood. the fire. his embrace. his apology. his promise. I can’t.
