Did ZY have to join Gao's project in order to be in the competition since she didn't enroll from the beginning? Because I think it's pretty messed up that she only joined Gao's project bc LX said no and then after she joins Gao's project, she pulls LX into the project. I'd feel pretty used if I were Gao. All of what he said to ZY was valid, so you think I can't win?? She should have just pulled all the stops on LX first and got him to join the competition and the two of them could work on their own project.

I completely agree that Gao needs some serious self reflection. Does anyone think that LX could be a bit nicer to Gao though? Or is it LX's personality and we can't expect him to be respectful? LX's rudeness to Gao definitely fuel's Gao's firey hatred.

I feel so bad for Gao. He's a good guy but he's succumbing to jealousy and defeat. He's got blinders on and instead of improving himself and his skills, he just wants to beat LX and "prove himself." Starting to really cringe every time I see him onscreen, WHICH MEANS writers and the actor did a good job. :D But yes, no to Gao's negativity, ew.

At the restaurant after she looked like she was about to cry? I wanted more! I wanted a FULL EMBRACE but it was just her head resting on his chest and his hand on her head. It was sweet but definitely left me wanting more.

Yes! I love the professor's story. Especially at the end when he rhetorically asks who's to say who's higher and lower? (when he compares himself to his former colleagues) Gives the audience a perspective we so often cannot see,

Gasp! You’re right. I’ve been scrolling down this section and everyone has been so kind to each other. <3 sigh honestly I think all of us just want to take a break from the stressors in life and chat about this drama and our thoughts.

I got an issue with her bright lips against the pale face. But now I’ll check out the face against the neck too. Her character seems pretty plain Jane so I feel like hair and makeup didn’t have to go so hard with the bright lip color. It actually distracts me

I also experience instant regret every time I start an unfinished drama and have to painfully wait for the next episode. But I have to agree that the best part is being able to come here and join in on people’s thoughts and theories! It’s nice when you realize other people may have the same feelings as you towards a character or a scene! I’m looking at you XLN. -_-

Hate her guts too. Casting director really did their job with this one. Overly friendly cutesy girl with a hidden agenda. But it looks like the drama is slowly trying to push Gao over with each of LX’s acts of betrayal and maybe this girl that Gao is interested in is going to be the straw the breaks the camels back for him.
