I think WXL and XL has the oddest relationship I’ve ever seen. From the moment he sank his teeth into her (literally) I was like um…what??? And yet the drama tries to show this softening relationship between the two. It’s the weirdest thing ever. And she LETS him.

Not sure if this is a question for novel readers or I’m not supposed to know yet. Currently on episode 12. Why is 17 and XiangLiu immediately able to identify her as a woman but CangXuan did not/cannot?

I agree. But instead of annoyed I’m just sad. To me (I didn’t read the novel) I think it’s because she has a fear of being abandoned and being alone. That’s why she never places her trust in anyone. But she decided to take a chance on 17 and for years it seemed promising that he’d be there for her forever. Well, he let her down. He wasn’t there when she took that risk to trust that he’d be there. So she’s probably hesitant in placing trust in him again. Not sure if she’s petty or angry. Might be combo of those things but also disappointed and sad? That’s just me thinking. I’m on episode 12.

Im still on episode 9 but I’ve literally been powering through this drama, started yesterday. What an unexpected jewel. I realized without ShiQi I’m not as interested. Come baccckk. I’m guessing right now it’s XiangLiu’s time to shine.

I wanted to be surprised but then I also really wanted to know. I’m a hot mess. They do such a good job having me root for ShiQi. Call me shallow but I don’t like the look of Zhang Wanyi so I couldn’t root for him. Even though they’re childhood sweethearts. He doesn’t have male lead vibes for me.

Girl that’s what I figured. It’s always gonna be the biggest characters on the poster. I’m sad now.

The only other drama I watched of him is Our Secret and he was so good. I tried Mr Bad but I just didn’t like the story line very much.

evERYTime he looked at her, he looked at her like he hadn’t seen her in a long time or she was going to go somewhere far forever or that she’s the most beautiful person he’s ever seen in his entire existence. His expression execution was excellent.
