From what I heard from people who have read the novel, majority of the focus in on ML and ZL's character. Even…
Ohhh good to hear from you again! I just tried to go back and scroll through TLB comments but it’s too long, can’t find my comment. Now, I’m curious what I said.
Oh man I'm so glad someone feels the same way. I watched this as it was coming out so I cant remember the exact…
Go ahead is not that much romance but there is a good amount esp in the latter half. But go ahead is a must watch (imo) even for someone like me who absolutely craves romance. I hope you consider giving it a shot. Dr Romantic was kinda a slow burn for me too but had just enough to string me along. There’s a huge focus on the interesting medical cases.
i want more of Shao Shang & bu yi 😭 what annoys me is the rush in the end to make everything happen in one…
UGH not according to that leaked clip of him with his new FL in his new drama!! He is all over her in that scene. Curious if it's because it's his first onscreen drama kiss after his movie upcoming summer? (kiss was bad in that one too) Or maybe director doesn't like more drawn out kisses? or maybe LBY is supposed to be upright and proper so he cannot do things like that? I dont know man. All I can say is, they both have the skill, just seems like they didn't use it.
It says romance in the genre but i haven't seen any. I'm on episode 33 and surely we should see something by now…
Oh man I'm so glad someone feels the same way. I watched this as it was coming out so I cant remember the exact episodes of where there's romance but I definitely remember wondering where the heck is the romance man. I needed a lot more romance out of the leads since they look so cute together and the chemistry is there! I feel like there just wasn't enough of time of them together. Just my personal opinion - I'm a big romance fanatic you see.
Is this drama's focus on romance, as well as action and politics? I'm looking for a romantic drama to watch atm
there's a slow burn for romance and quite a bit of politics, so much so that i'd get confused sometimes. there is also a good amount of action. I'd say its politics, action followed by romance for part 1. Part 2 maybe last two are switched: politics, romance then action.
Aw! I love ZLH I think his acting is very genuine and not cringey at all. It also helps that he’s very handsome.…
Booo I’m sorry that happened to you too. It’s an awful feeling. And what an excellent point about these upstanding honorable roles. I guess I always thought it’d be easy to portray them bc they’re a good guy. But I think you’re right that the difficulty lies in how they can portray their range of acting skills if they’re constantly THAT NICE GUY throughout the entire drama. Not much of a character arc for the good guys esp for second male lead.

Oh dang that actually makes a lot of sense. I didn't know ZL was in this drama until I watched the trailer and I immediately was thinking oh, she must have an important role because I've been told she's quite famous. I think her popularity is levels above Yukee which is why I found it weird like why would they cast such a popular second female lead that might overshadow the main FL? I get it now. I think you might be right! All the scheming scenes and stuff as you said.
What's your problem with ML? Wang Hedi is brilliant acting. You leave Forbidden Love MDL.
I was one of those folks unsure of his acting skills. I watched him in MG and even though I loved him, he def had a lot of room for improvement. And then of course I share the same general sentiment about him in LBFAD. But FOR ME, being hesitant about female lead is a separate issue. Watched her in Ashes and she was great but watched her as the FL in And the Winner is Love and I was unimpressed at best. I'm interested to see her in this though! Who knows? Their chemistry could be amazing.
