The Pages of a Fairytale

I am glad, it gone mark dark. 16 episodes of pure fluff and cuteness...?
I'm not saying there shouldn't have been any darkness. Obviously, the darkness was part of the central plot of the drama. I just think the darker elements of the story were very poorly done and dragged down the parts of the story that I actually found enjoyable.

Yes, it feels like we were love bombed by Seul Bi for 7-8 eps and now that it's stopped we're unsure of what anyone's…
From what I'm reading in other comments, it sounds like they tried to create more backstory than was in the original webtoon, and they've done a poor job of it.

This. 100% this.

If anyone is interested in hardsubbed versions, me and Ellie are doing hardsubs for this drama. You can find it…
Do either of you possibly have Dream Width or Wordpress accounts? LiveJournal hasn't worked for me in months, so I can't download dramas and subs from there anymore.

I just could never get into the mystery Shaman stuff with the CEO and company, because the writers gave us very little information and what they did tell us was confusing. I love Seul Bi and greatly enjoyed being love bombed by her, but the rest of this drama just turned into a hard pass for me.

Reading comments since I dropped this, and I have thoughts to share. I think the problem with this drama is that the darker side of the story has begun to overshadow the cute, bubbly, ethereal charms the show had early on, but the darker side of the story is not well-done, so it's just dragging the enjoyable parts down. If they had just focused on the cute, budding romance between the leads more and left the dark stuff more in the background, I could have continued watching this. It still wouldn't have been a very well-written drama, but it would have been a pleasant watch. As it is, I'm glad I decided to drop this before ep 8.

1. The leads get together during the end part of ep 282. The leads do break up once but it wasn't due to any misunderstanding,…
Yeah, the 2ML likes the female lead. He pines for her through most of the drama but doesn't tell her he likes her. Then he tells her, and she firmly rejects him, and he doesn't really want to let it go for an episode or two. It's actually technically a love square for a bit as another girl likes the male lead as well, but that doesn't go anywhere, because he doesn't have any interest in her. I wouldn't say no to this drama because of the love triangle/square though. All of the characters are quite likable, and the relationship dynamics are very realistic and understandable. Sometimes you like people who don't like you back. It happens.

Agreed. A dropped plot line is much easier to ignore than a missing pivotal scene.
They drop the stabbing plot in later episodes like it never happened, so we don't know who did it. And that's probably why they went back and edited that scene out.

I'm losing interest and that makes me sad.
Me too, fam. Me too.

No. Some scenes yes. But the mystery around the older adults were not.
Which would you consider better, the webtoon or drama?

They are always using the newest Samsung phones (occasionally they use iPhones or strangely use older versions…
The stickers were there because the production company didn't have a product placement deal in place with that brand, and you can't use a brand without having a deal with them. Older Kdramas had way smaller production budgets, so they likely couldn't afford to be doing many, if any, product placements. Kdramas are much bigger productions today though, so they can afford it now.

might be an off-topic question but.. has anyone noticed that in some dramas main characters use really expensive…
Product placement. It is always and forever product placement. If a character is poor but uses an expensive product, if ALL of the characters are using the Same product, if everyone and their grandmother seems to really love Subway...it's product placement, lol.

I'm totally confused about this as well. I thought they said earlier on that the women just suddenly become pregnant…
I don't know. The mythos of this story has gotten too confusing for me, lol.

Yeah, I remember that now.

It really has been incredibly consistent, which I think is part of why those cuts are so frustrating. I mean, I'm pretty sure there have already been some dropped plot points before, and they didn't cut scenes out there. That's why I'm going to re-watch what I've seen since ep 23, because I'm not totally enjoying the drama anymore, and I know that I should be. I think this drama is pretty good, and I don't want those cuts to ruin it for me.

So I love the main couple. I'm not weirded out by Seul Bi's innocence and child-like wonder and enthusiasm nor…
I can see what you mean now, and that does make sense in regard to all of the secondary characters. I'm not sure it makes sense in regard to Soo Gwang though, because he's actually experienced some of those sorts of things. He's painfully aware what these people are willing to do.
