The Pages of a Fairytale

I'ma havetuh (I have to, lol) disagree with your opinion of Radiant Office. It's true that if you're looking for a story with a strong focus on the romance, then Radiant Office isn't for you. The leads slow but budding relationship takes more of a backseat to the rest of the story. And I admit that sometimes the office politics could be boring and pointless. But it was the genuine, heartfelt focus on the issues of mental health, internal anguish and struggle, the desire and effort put into trying to make something of yourself while holding onto your morals, that really got me. (And I was super into the main romance despite it not being a major focus of the story, lol.) That being said, I also totally get why it's not a drama for everyone. The storyline outside of the quiet romance and mental health/trying to be a better person had definite flaws, and that was frustrating to watch at times. The last two eps were particularly frustrating in that regard.

As for Jugglers, I haven't watched it yet, but it's definitely on my watch-list. The premise sounds awesome and humurous.

Girl, same. I can't say very clearly why I dropped this, cause I was in a rough period and didn't write my usual…
Honestly, I thought they had great chemistry with each other, and it's part of what kept me watching as long as I did, but at a certain point, if you don't like the way a character is behaving, you just don't like the way a character is behaving, and no amount of chemistry is going to change that. I'm also ok with having weak female characters whether mentally or physically, but I don't like it when a drama portrays a character as weak but then wants you to believe they are strong. That's not how personality traits work? If the character is weak, then they're weak. We don't have to pretend that's not true.

LOL. I've never seen a 1/10 review before. Really enjoyed reading yours. I felt just as frustrated, and I had…
There were just so many other more interesting directions they could have taken the story in, and they didn't. They just went in circles for 20 hours. Which might be fun when you're driving around a traffic circle in the middle of the night on your college campus, because there's literally nothing else to do, but it's not very fun in a story that's supposed to be Going somewhere. I want my time back!

Netflix gets it in 2 days!!!
Maybe? But I don't think Forbes would report on what Netflix is adding to their lineup in other countries, only what's being added to the US website. So maybe someone got it wrong? Or something changed? Also, most Korean broadcasters don't put their shows on non-Korean streaming sites within their own country since they have their own websites for that.

god waiting for ep 5 subs was possibly the most painful thing.... but good news! it was completely worth it! this…
She's still dating Chef. It looks like the story with her is going to be that he reminds her of her younger brother who died, not a new romance.

O mythical, and nonexistent subs! Wherefore art thou subs? Deny thy out-of-touch overlords (Viki and Dramafever)…
This is my favorite things of favorite things.

Just an FYI for people waiting for subs. I emailed On Demand Korea who is currently streaming Age of Youth 2 and asked if they will be subbing it. They told me they don't have the license to sub it. So still no subs. I swear there's some kind of conspiracy against this drama.

How did you find that? When I search for it, nothing comes up.

So I'm sad the actress who played the lead in season 1 isn't returning, and I think that's always gonna be in the back of my mind, but I'm Still insanely excited for this. This was one of my favorite dramas last year and one of my favorite dramas of all time. It definitely needed a second season, mainly to tie up all of the loose ends they left hanging, but I wasn't expecting that to actually happen. I mean, second seasons are basically the unicorns of Asian dramas, lol. But here we are, getting a second season. I'm basically ecstatic right now, lol.

I'm not very fond of the amnesia thing, is it very central in this drama? How many episodes is he not remembering…
The amnesia plays out a lot better in this drama than it does in most. It's never used to force the leads apart or as an excuse for them to make bad decisions. He regains bits and pieces of his memory over time, much closer to what amnesia (the kind where you actually regain your memories) is like in real life. It is very central to the plot, but in a good way. And Louie is a decent guy from beginning to end so none of that 'I've become a good person, but oh! I've got all my memories back/I've lost all my memories, so I'm going to revert back to being an asshole' nonsense.

So I started watching this on Crunchyroll last week, but when I went back today to continue, all the episodes were gone. Have they removed them from the site? Does anyone know?

2 episodes in underwhelmed. The hype was real, but it doesn't seem to deliver. It's too all over the…
Apparently, they just aren't getting a good look at each others faces, because every time they run into each other, he's flailing around so much trying to keep her from seeing him. Unfortunately, the scenes aren't filmed in a way that conveys this information, so to us, it makes no sense that they don't recognize each other at this point, because they've clearly looked each other directly in the eyes multiple times. They should have made it more clear by filming more up close and personal during those scenes so we can see exactly what they are seeing instead of far way so that all we see is what appears to be them looking directly at each other. I'm willing to go with it though, as that's not a writing flaw but a filming one (and a small at that), and I personally am really enjoying the story and characters so far.
