Aw, girl I understand you. I think that's my problem with ratings. In my reviews I can clearly explain what I…
Actually, I should probably go fix that since spoilers aren't allowed on the site. I always get a little too involved with my reviews and forget not to share too much of the story to people who haven't watched it, lol.
My biggest problem is that sometimes I can't conceptualize my feelings about a drama, or I don't really Know what my feelings are about a drama, and I'll anguish over trying to make sense of how I feel. I'm usually a very 'Yes' or 'No' kind of person. I like what I like and don't like what I don't like. Obviously, I'm not like that 100% of the time. That's impossible. But I do tend to form strong opinions on things pretty quickly. Outside of dramas (and anime and things like that), it doesn't usually bother me when I find myself feeling unsure about something. But for some reason, it's really frustrating for me when it comes to dramas. I don't like not knowing definitively how I feel about a drama. I think I hold myself to this silly high standard when it comes to dramas that I don't really hold myself to for other things.
Also, Dramaworld is fabulous, and I wish more people would watch it. I really want to see more dramas like it with more diverse casts. Not to replace or compete with all Korean/all Japanese/allChinese, etc. casted dramas, but to exist alongside them. It opens up so many interesting story ideas.
I'ma havetuh (I have to, lol) disagree with your opinion of Radiant Office. It's true that if you're looking for a story with a strong focus on the romance, then Radiant Office isn't for you. The leads slow but budding relationship takes more of a backseat to the rest of the story. And I admit that sometimes the office politics could be boring and pointless. But it was the genuine, heartfelt focus on the issues of mental health, internal anguish and struggle, the desire and effort put into trying to make something of yourself while holding onto your morals, that really got me. (And I was super into the main romance despite it not being a major focus of the story, lol.) That being said, I also totally get why it's not a drama for everyone. The storyline outside of the quiet romance and mental health/trying to be a better person had definite flaws, and that was frustrating to watch at times. The last two eps were particularly frustrating in that regard.
As for Jugglers, I haven't watched it yet, but it's definitely on my watch-list. The premise sounds awesome and humurous.
Girl, same. I can't say very clearly why I dropped this, cause I was in a rough period and didn't write my usual…
Honestly, I thought they had great chemistry with each other, and it's part of what kept me watching as long as I did, but at a certain point, if you don't like the way a character is behaving, you just don't like the way a character is behaving, and no amount of chemistry is going to change that. I'm also ok with having weak female characters whether mentally or physically, but I don't like it when a drama portrays a character as weak but then wants you to believe they are strong. That's not how personality traits work? If the character is weak, then they're weak. We don't have to pretend that's not true.
LOL. I've never seen a 1/10 review before. Really enjoyed reading yours. I felt just as frustrated, and I had…
There were just so many other more interesting directions they could have taken the story in, and they didn't. They just went in circles for 20 hours. Which might be fun when you're driving around a traffic circle in the middle of the night on your college campus, because there's literally nothing else to do, but it's not very fun in a story that's supposed to be Going somewhere. I want my time back!
Maybe? But I don't think Forbes would report on what Netflix is adding to their lineup in other countries, only what's being added to the US website. So maybe someone got it wrong? Or something changed? Also, most Korean broadcasters don't put their shows on non-Korean streaming sites within their own country since they have their own websites for that.
Ok, it's been a month now, and there are still no subs for this on any of the legal sites. What the heck is up with that??? I've already watched it, because DUH! Of course, I'm going to watch it. But why the heck do none of the legal sites have it?!?! I don't understaaaaaaaaaaaaand!!!!
Just an FYI for people waiting for subs. I emailed On Demand Korea who is currently streaming Age of Youth 2 and asked if they will be subbing it. They told me they don't have the license to sub it. So still no subs. I swear there's some kind of conspiracy against this drama.
