really like the story. Entertianing and LXY look like magic lighten up my day.
The only thing I have a problem with is ZHHZ's YCW didn't even try to have JJY mannerism as ref when she act YCW. JJY has a very unique facial expression and way of speaking. and she is the lead. so she can't act like ZHHZ for the whole series. ZHHZ acting is lacking consideration for the whole series because it makes people feel like they are two different people.
Like how Helena acted as Hermione with Bellatrix's face. she needs to study JJY.
This is not me being a JJY fan. It's just a common thing to do in filming.

JJY is okay in this drama. when she isn't pretending to be SZ. She can be calm and thoughtful, like YCW. When acting SZ she makes it believable that SZ is SZ. her way pf speaking &facial expression are very different (her unique eyebrows show a little but the effort is good)
When she's YCW acting as SZ. We see her struggle to act like SZ hence why they make it come off comedic.
LXY is everything as always. I love love him. even if the script is not the best he still looks magical and brings the best out of it.

I don't think they look alike It's just a mental image.

everyone has mixed feelings bout the show. but damn it's entertaining AF

She's okay in normal scenes. Her character is not expressive. She is supposed to be cold and calculated. So it's not evident that she's bad. I had high hopes for her at first.
But when it comes to emotional scenes, she has that big eyes look that does not change at all during takes. her face stiff up like stone. Her microexpression is non-exiting.
The script's bad writing can be debated, but her acting side by side with two male leads (or others) is really weak.
2 MLs is really good, whether you like the script or not. so when they pour their inside out on their face and you cut the camera back to her it......
This is my opinion. My criticism of her work.
Her role in Sweet Home is passable because she is supposed to look sick and horrified all the time. which her big eyes and always wide open through it all really help.

agree. too mysterious for too long. They can try to hide their emotions from the world. but they should give the viewer a glimpse of something relatable.
The information is all over the place. especially for television viewers, we got more than 10 hours of infos they really need well-executed scenes for it to make an impact.

I still don't get the FL reaction (or acting, or whatever). but her eyes are really big.
And they keep open wild the same size throughout the scene.
why would they use that take? a lit disturb here.

I feel like if you watch carefully all the answers is right there. It's not the smartest answers but it's kinda reasonable. but the writer make it too subtle for the television viewer.
this is not a 2 hours movie. we got too much to digest.
They fail to execute scenes that should leave impact correctly.
The biggest mistake the writer makes is trying to much to make the characters so mysterious that we can't feel connected to them.

The 7 ep preview is fun. I like how the series started off with Teaoh thinking he had everything under control. then trip down the hill to the bottom. lol
We knew this would happen. Most people see that his plan is too wild and stupid.
All we need is a nice counterattack. if the writer can pull it off tho lol.

He got slapped because he didn't succeed yet. if it's Inha as the chairman I think he fantasizes himself getting the upper hand. lol

the writing is too pretentious. the writer kinda fail to make Teaoh look really smart.

He likely wants revenge on his father.
He doesn't wanna runaway anymore and he wants a power that can crush anyone who challenges him too.

TO wants to protect his mom. he faked her death and put his father in jail. There has never been mention if he will be released or not I think it will relate to why he's willing to make a 10 years plan for.
When he got expose he will need power that can bend the law which the most wealthy family can provide.
Before meeting Inha, he may have already set off to be some chabol powerful assistant. but that will make him only their "dog". when he met Inha, who is so inferior in the chabol world and nobody bets on him.
He sees it as a way to make his position more stable, not just some disposable dog.
but he underestimated Inha who hid his shady side with a foolish face.
Inha's inferiority and insecurity make him drown in fear that TO will betray him because that is who Inha is. He got used to people treating him like shit that he could never believe TO would give him everything with nothing in return. He always suspected TO to has a motive but TO never told him what it was, and it drove him crazy with fear.
That is why he get the girl. She's always a tool for him.
That's my take

The chairman likes that HW has a messed up family BG because he never wants Teaoh to challenge his 2 legitimate sons. He is doing his best to make Inha useless.

okay guys, I have theories for anyone who wonders why Teaoh is helping Inha. And why is he in love with Hyewon and if he has a motive to frame Teaoh for murder.

Why Hyewon?
: She might remind him of his mother. abused, broken, and so desperate to hide that she need help.
there're similality between both of them and It's the reason why he can't look away from her.
we all know the problems he went through to keep his mother safe. faking her death and gaining his power to protect her against his father and against the law by
Saving his mother will likely foreshadow him saving FL as well tho.

Why helping Inha?
: helping inha into power which will ensure his mother's safety until her peaceful death.
He needs power that can help him bend the law when his father finally get to him and his mother one day.
As he can't bet on the current chairman because he will likely die soon. And he got Inha's weakness—his inability to get the throne himself. the impossible heir that no one will bet on and will only have him as only support
after Inha got the chair teaoh will already have so many dirts on inha for Inha to betray him already.
And that would be inha worst fear.

Why Inha and Hyewon?
: she is a pawn to control Teaoh.
Inha want the throne so badly. He is treated so badly by the family and everyone around him to the point that he wants revenge on all of them. Just look at how he is in ep1. He was so obsessed with them and drowning in his own insecurity.
so when Teaoh give him an offer he took it. But secretly, his insecurity is killing him inside. because he wants it so badly that he fear of losing it too. That's why he tries to get anything that can hold power to Teaoh.
Inha try to make his relationship with Teaoh into freindship is one of them so Teaoh will have a harder time betraying him. but It's not enough tho. he need his weakness.
so the moment he notice Teaoh's interest in HW he immediately went for her HARD.
like, he already knew who she is long before but never make a movebut the moment he know teaoh like her he went full speed. No real friend will do that.

Why frame Teaoh for murder?
:He CAN'T have Teaoh succeed in helping him into power because that would likely give Teaoh the power to overthrow him.
His plan has always been to cripple (or kill) Teaoh and his brothers from the start.

I agree with people who think Inha sent Kang in joo's assistant to hit Teaoh. He did it because he wanted Teaoh to target KIJ.
by giving KIJ the kissing photo will create Teaoh motive for killing him. as Teaoh went to prison. He will feel more peacful to have HW as a wife because now he has so many dirts on her it's hard for her to challenge him. the assistant must have want to kill KIJ already but he would never have the confident to frame it on Teaoh, the smartest assistant in the company.

for the second brother tho. It's still unclear why he couldn't wait for Teaoh to help him get rid of before he put Teaoh away. maybe he already have thing on him? cause the second brother seem harder to get rid of considering his mother and his good image up until now.


Well, that's fun. The show a hot mess but I do enjoy it very much. Grey-to-dark characters are interesting to explore.
The second half will hopefully see Inha and Teaoh face off.

I think she reminds him of his mother. Despite her tough persona he knows she is just an injured soul, abused like his mother.
Teaoh have a habit of seeing through people's personalities.
he sees through Inha's insecurity and knows to well that Inha never really wants him as a friend( an equal) but just someone lesser. like how he treated his old friend( the one he dissed for teaoh)
I bet he'd not gonna surprise to hear what inha said to Fl bout him.

her character is written poorly for sure. she just a pawn Inha used to control teaoh but she was too arrogant and stupid to notice it. make her seem very useless, but I never dislike her character because we still have half of it to see some improvement. Maybe she will toughen up and get back at inha. that would be very fun.
My criticism to her acting is based on how I feel that she fail to match others energy. which I could be wrong. There are so many shitty shows out there that people don't criticize actors acting tho.

I'm kind of holding a candle for her to pull through in the second half of impossible heir.
I mean, HER ROLE is one of the major plot of the storyline. It's such a shame it's hard to watch.

The reason why the backlash is on her is because all the other actors/actresses are doing GREAT!

If this is not a heavy drama but a rom-com or anything lighter, she would be FINE.
but her inferiority is highlighted because she lacks the skills compared to the others.

tbh the agency or anyone who made the decision to put her on this really needs to reflect on themselves. She got a ton of hateful comments on social media. Some is not just criticisms but are outright to hurt her feelings.

this is the reason why many promising female actresses get the main lead role on small projects first. Just to test it out and see how people react. building up experiences.
Sure, there were some unicorns that are very talented and can hit it big in their first big budget in drama type stories.
but she isn't.
and for them to miscalculate this... she will have to face backlash and likely need to go get therapy.
