I feel like the most unsatisfying factor in this drama is the mother character. She's a one-dimensional character…
I always feel like C'drama is too realistic with this family bullshit. yes there's always some family member like this (not as stupid but yes) and we can hardly do shit about it which is why real-life suck.
now this is a drama. there're so many unrealistic thing happening already. but why why leave the most annoying part in real-life so realistic? Other country drama would have knocked some sense into characters like this. Not realistic but will be much more satisfying.
wait, I just read the description and watched the trailer, and the main leads have the same grandma?? plus he…
second marriage with FL's grandpa . After her first marriage she was alone for 10-20 yrs before marry again They got together when they were old. The kids, or the parent generation, are all grown up.
I feel like the most unsatisfying factor in this drama is the mother character. She's a one-dimensional character whose sole purpose is to show how good FL is. how filial piety the FL is. She's stupid to the core. too stupid. And the more the FL endures all her sh*t, the more the writer thinks it will prove FL's filial piety. But for me, FL is stupid AF for enduring her mother's bullshit for so long. She and her family are one of the reasons her mother is so clueless and stupid. like a child. elementary school Brian must be smarter
they keep enduring the mother bullshit to the extreme WTF level that she keeps having the guts to do stupid shit again and again because her family will clean up after her.
Yes the FL can be imperfect too. But someone's gonna point this out to her right?. Or they gonna keep enduring the mother bullshit to the end? Knowing C-drama and culture I feel like that the outcome waiting for me.
This one is very comedy-based compared to TLYGM. It's silly and ridiculous but very enjoyable. if you are not up for a laugh and want something more complex then this is not for you <3
This drama is about sensitive topic "marriage"I just want to know how much abuse a person (irrespective of gender)…
there still more to the back story. a lot of conflicts need to be explain. it might not be love can conquer shits it's not too late to wait to the end to see all the reasons
I have high hope for Inha's character. Like dude pretended to be goodie besties for 10 yrs without losing it. He must have been wicked, right? planning that long he even got the girl just to make it TO's weakness.
but Nha the writer said he's just an insecure, mad dude and he did like the girl? the girl did drove him to act out?. he even CRY in the last moment too. They could've stay friends? how?
to the comment section Just chill out and step back. relationships is hard. especially when, at some point, you loved them.
this drama is not even real life. but as a drama/romcom I feel like they're doing a pretty good job adding some humanity to the characters. They're very human. they have good/bad side. Many actions is not hard to sympathize with. They make yall debate what is right or wrong.
people think they can do better. but that's not how life always works out you know. Even people who have a strong moral compass will step on someone's toes too.
4 episodes in, and I'm already irritated. I truly hate how disfunction and poor leadership skills always affect…
The Autumn Ballad family is way worse than this one.
the big difference is FL grandparents are very noble, smart and good people. So their household management is not so bad thus never creating a really big rift in family relationships. they dislike each other's personalities, but they don't hate each other. the children (her father and uncles) did love each other. even if they are not outstanding like the grandpa it seems like the grandparents are giving them equal treatment.
They're just narrow-minded backyard women. It'll show later that they do care for her but in their own way and they'll learn to forgive and value each other.
I like that they are not just "good or bad people". They are very human flaws and it makes FL way more interesting as she tries to navigate people management in an ancient, big Chinese family. Make her grow from a girl to a woman more realistic.
this show is so fun tho why the rating tank? I feel like this is supposed to be a funny, silly, ridiculous kind of drama. If you not up for a laugh you better not watch it. Just like those action/comedy-fun flick movies that don't need much logic, just entertaining characters and plots.
I think it's the make up. Just go compare his make up from Handsome Siblings (2020) and this one. this one his eyebrow went up almost 1 cm. lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E19TSD3-Ng8&ab_channel=5Water I'm not sure about his acting yet because we only watch 8 eps and his time is not much, but from his previous works something is not adding up. HYT can act. especially with his EYES. he has emotional, charismatic eyes that can pull some heartstrings. he did use it a lot it kind of became how he acted but the producers do him dirty by pull his eyebrows up thus pulling his upper eyelid up in the process. And he had a youthful face too. Now he looks like a pitiful lost child all the time lol. poor guy.
It's just a low budget drama with rockie producers, director and screenwriter😂 JJY was mocked and downgraded…
congrats to them! they're doing a good job of keeping everything nice and clean and enjoyable. really don't care about the fan drama. they're making a fool of themselves by criticizing acting when it's obvious that it's not bad.
Well good thing the whole population of China is not you. Its Youku’s Best Drama of 2024 so far. The drama broke…
oh I'm glad the drama is doing well, love. It such a fun flick. I just think jjy's antis are wasting their time criticizing her acting when it's not that serious. I like LXY fine but not his fans so I think of myself as one of the general audience. I enjoy the series very much but I'm just not passionate about it to the piont that i stop doing anything else to watch it. It's just me being honest. I didn't insulting the drama.

I like how silly it is and the comedic delivery did make me laugh each ep.
the plot is very cliché it's obvious that It's a parody of many cliché tropes.
It can come out boring but, for me, the delivery is funny.

It's SILLY and entertaining AF. the comedic timing is great. I'm laughing out loud time to time.
The cast looks comfortable doing fun, silly scenes they gave it all.
The chemistry is great. The plot is obviously cliché and they're just making a parody of those cliché tropes. The thriller part is well done not out of this world good, but acceptable.
It's a 9/10 for me
