I think he knew at first but he assumes it's just a crush, like girls like pretty boy kind, then the imaginary bf happens and he thinks she's over him already .
I mean, the guy knows he's hot and a lot of girls like him. but he has his issues too and it pretty much makes him don't want to get into a relationship. went years without any love interest.
He's too busy thinking about the heavier stuff. while the romance is the focus of this story because we are in FL's point of view. ML life has a lot more going on.

Sibling relationships look so natural. The acting is really natural. The directing/editing/sound is great too.

He's kind and friendly to EVERYONE.(LMAO the public air thing is super funny)
but as we have mostly FL points of view, it's easy to think he's flirting.
And he has 0 relationships before.

The real relationship happen when FL over 18. while I'm not a fan of marry young ( too young to know what life really is) I sympathize with the ML life story. he's a more than decent guy.

I don't know if you're Asian or not. But in many Asian cultures, we call older male "brother".
Seniority is a normal thing here. and that makes us call our brother's friends "brother/gege" too. even a stranger can be call "gege"
She didn't think of him as her actual brother. But there's a moment when she's in middle school, she wishes ML could be her real brother so he would come help her out like he did. That's it. That sentence alone can not say that she think of him as an actual brother.

I think we can see from the kid's face that she has had a little crush on him since the beginning.

This is a very light-hearted kind of show. The crime-thriller side is light but entertaining. The logic is acceptable. there're some plot hole but it's not that important to the story. 70/30 on romance and crime.
I feel like it's selling what it is already. easy entertaining!

The editing and music are a mess. It's too much and ruining the moment. They should have let the acting do the work. make the tension build at a much slower pace. create that feeling of romance.
This is the kind of show you want the viewer to sympathize with both leads. get into their headspace and get lost in their romance.
But it seems so rushed. Like the showrunner didn't believe in the acting, or they just didn't think it was enough, so they used music to make the mood happen. but it turned out overpower the performance

Teaoh said from the start that they're not. Inha just doing his best to make them friends. And maybe after a long time like most viewers, TO think that too.
1. Inha is a slave to his inferiority complex from the start. He was never okay just to have money. He hates the family and wants revenge. and even if he hates them he still can't help acting like them, hence became a bully.
2. My take is Teaoh just knew from how he dump his old friend for him the moment that Inha would do the same with him giving a chance. that's why he make them partner in crime instead. To make Inha own him something. Make them equal.
3. Inha wanted to befriend Teaoh because his father is a murderer. Which will make it easier to manipulate Teaoh into a dog he can use around. TO is smart AF whay not?
But Teaoh make an impossible offered that he want more than anything. But that offer will make him own TO everything. And it terrified him.
4. Teaoh keeps lying to Inha that he wants nothing in return. Inha never believe him. and it make him never trust Teaoh.
5. Inha knows that the possibility that TO will succeed is high. And fear that after getting it, TO will be more powerful than him and can throw him out anytime. Because that's how he was raised. Maybe it's who he really is.
he don't want to give Teaoh any chance of betraying him. He tries to find as many of TO's weaknesses as he can. Being super nice and friendly hoping Teaoh drop his guard.
That's why he went for HW the moment he knew TO like her. (TO didn't know her name but Inha do. if He's interest he would have come to her long before. He may have interest but never make a move. But after he knew TO like her he went full speed. too fast.)
So the girl thought she string along two boys. But Inha use her so perfectly she didn't notice.
6. Now in the other half of the serie he will use TO weakness. Murderer father, His affair with HW to throw him in prison while gaslight TO it's all his fault.
