at ep 10 and I still stand by what I said. There's a line between campiness and laziness. With big machine company like GMMTV this looks like one of the projects that no one really cares about. Because they got lots of show lineups thru the year, it's normal to have 2-3 bad projects.
But it doesn't make sense because when they announce it. it got a lot of hype. it looks fantastic from the teaser.
my last project of Fluke is Be my fav and he kills it there. I love his performance, and the series was made with so much love and care. Every frame and shot is beautiful and full of storytelling. The directing, music score, the editing, the art direction, and the mood & tone are fantastic.
but thie this series while the art direction is okay, everything else seems to struggle. The cinematography looks bad for GMMTV standards. It looks like they did try just to shoot and go home.
I complain about Fluke's acting, but I never blame him. I blame the director. With weak cinematography, bad editing, and his obvious "I don't care about the project they hired me to do it" attitude. For example, Fluke going to have a lot of "surprise face" but they got him in a lot of awkward shots and sometimes leave it for too long. Some emotional scenes could be way better, but it feel like the director want to go home already. Not just him Joss too. it's just he doesn't have to pikachu face most of the time
Maybe it's my bad for thinking he's a good actor and that the director did him dirty.

He is great on Be my fav (not the best but really good). So I put this heavily on directing. how can they make him act this bad and say, "cut, yeah, that's great" The editing is off. The special effect looks 40 years old. There are so many vam shows out there that the CGI is low budget in the past 20 years. so many good things they could study But this feels like they didn't even try... they didn't even know how to film or edit a vampire show. on top of that it feel like they don't know how to make BL show at all. make me wonder if ep2 gonna change my mind

They often buy books and choose the talents and the director. There will be some time that the director pitches the project. but original projects are rare because "risk." So when directors get hired, they know the drill; they're just there to finish the work. thai ent industry is very small. This is how they survive. there only small number of ppl who can only make a masterpiece and feed themselves in thai ent.
I don't get why Ford isn't on Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist with Mark. They have amazing chemistry, and the roles are perfect for their personalities too. It's not that Ohm is bad, but I feel like it would be effortless for Ford to play the cute, clueless, and silly type of role. his overall aura is way cuter It's weird. really a miss for GMMTV. the show is silly and watery, but if they got the chem right, it would have been way better.

So it implies that whatever she did with his family is never about shamanhood but curse/black magic.
It never say out loud why she cures grandma (yet). The shamans in this drama kind of secretive about their shamanhood sometimes. Especially if its dark magic. Like its a jinx to say.
But my guess is maybe the grandma soul supposed to be the last sacrifice soul to make the god of evil. Thats why right after she left ML house she go straight to the evil soul and make more curse to speed up the process.
Burn the house will only release it. If it go out it can turn into something more wild and uncontrollable and less intelligent. It can become the GOD of evil in the future but it will take much more time. The ritual YH did is to make it FASTER. Being god means more intelligence and easier to make a deal with. so it can give her power to cast spell and doing bad things to give it more power. The reason the shamans lock it inside is because even if it isnt god it very powerful and hard to kill already. They dont want to waste time looking for it and risk ppl dying more. But as we can see she doing really well in the shaman world and ppl really believes she legit but other shamans afraid of her it might be because she turn to dark magic/ curse technique. She targeted ppl, curse them, make them think only she can save them, got lots of money form them for 10+ yrs out of fear after that. Just like GY's parents. Like its been 10+ yrs but they still fear their own child& do everything she said. From the look of it the parents is also doing really well financially. She might find some way to make them money black magic too. Thats my guess.
Im just wondering why all of the shaman friends didn't agree to keep watch the House lol. I know it had to be this way for the plot but after knowing how dangerous it is it doesn't make sense they left it unattended especially after they know what YH trying to do. Like maybe someone was keeping watch but make some mistakes. Just little plot holes tho. I still love the series there are a lot of thing they done right😘
Its really hard to pull balance between comedy and drama. Especially when they try to be 70%comedy 30drama? like should i look at it the logical way? Or illogical way? But i feel like we expect the FML to be the smart/logical fml when she clearly isnt lol Girl is not real life smart. She a child actress that grow into a struggles adult actress nobody. She didn't know how to negotiate for better jobs. Almost cowardly hide from problem. She barely graduated highschool( working and studying). Thats our FML. Im gonna set my expectation low. Im also feel the plot is draggy. But the drama didnt seem to care about the plot at all lol. the comedy scenes seem more important The only thing i find troublesome now is i dont know if i should take anything about the plot seriously or not. How much is the writer can change? 🤔 Will the "writer" be logical? 🙃
For me, the ending was fine; it's the story that's been too kind for the ending. that's why ppl compair it to All of Us Are Dead. when it's more of a Battle Royal. because AoUAD is considered light for the genre. The ending, though... The story up to that point isn't dark enough that's why it rubs people the wrong way and the message is lost in anger. It seems like they want to be political and send a message of concern for edu system that kills (directly and indirectly) its own children, no matter if they pass the test or not. Could have been better. 10-20 yrs from now maybe ppl will say differently.
