Maybe ML's parents is also her victim. I can see they are financially good. All of the children granma have seem to do well financially especially the parents. Bet She cursed them scared them shitless then after they pay her she stop or something. After that she find way to make them lucky Like stole someone luck for them for example. Thats the kind of things dark shaman do😖.
Maybe all this time she stolen GY luck to make the parents lucky. Thats why his life is like this. Thats why YH got them warp arounf her finger.

This new ep Soeng Ah telling YH she lost her guardian long ago and should beg them for forgiveness. Most likely after lost the guardian=>she cant cast spells. But as we can see she doing really well in the shaman world and ppl really believes she legit but other shamans afraid of her it might be because she turn to dark magic/ curse technique. She targeted ppl, curse them, make them think only she can save them, got lots of money form them for 10+ yrs out of fear after that. Just like GY's parents. Like its been 10+ yrs but they still fear their own child& do everything she said. From the look of it the parents is also doing really well financially. She might find some way to make them money black magic too. Thats my guess.
Im just wondering why all of the shaman friends didn't agree to keep watch the House lol. I know it had to be this way for the plot but after knowing how dangerous it is it doesn't make sense they left it unattended especially after they know what YH trying to do. Like maybe someone was keeping watch but make some mistakes. Just little plot holes tho. I still love the series there are a lot of thing they done right😘
Its really hard to pull balance between comedy and drama. Especially when they try to be 70%comedy 30drama? like should i look at it the logical way? Or illogical way? But i feel like we expect the FML to be the smart/logical fml when she clearly isnt lol Girl is not real life smart. She a child actress that grow into a struggles adult actress nobody. She didn't know how to negotiate for better jobs. Almost cowardly hide from problem. She barely graduated highschool( working and studying). Thats our FML. Im gonna set my expectation low. Im also feel the plot is draggy. But the drama didnt seem to care about the plot at all lol. the comedy scenes seem more important The only thing i find troublesome now is i dont know if i should take anything about the plot seriously or not. How much is the writer can change? 🤔 Will the "writer" be logical? 🙃
For me, the ending was fine; it's the story that's been too kind for the ending. that's why ppl compair it to All of Us Are Dead. when it's more of a Battle Royal. because AoUAD is considered light for the genre. The ending, though... The story up to that point isn't dark enough that's why it rubs people the wrong way and the message is lost in anger. It seems like they want to be political and send a message of concern for edu system that kills (directly and indirectly) its own children, no matter if they pass the test or not. Could have been better. 10-20 yrs from now maybe ppl will say differently.

Yeah it was push to the max like you said. They should have make it more comedic, smooth it out somehow so i can enjoy the next comedies scenes 😂. Maybe cut the sound out and make NH got some head monologue at how ridiculous it is. The acting is too good i guess
I enjoy the drama, but the Blaming Nan Heng plot is making me lose sleep out of anger. so maybe this is a sign for me to stop for now lol. I legit FF many Blaming Nan Heng scenes I think they try to make it into a joke, considering how ridiculous it is, BUT each character's reaction came out too serious, making me feel so bad for him, angers me more than it should.

There's someone behind the scene working tirelessly to make NH look bad. Even that relative uncle seem weird. He been working with the emperor for decades but dont get how the emperor will reacted. Everything he did always get NH blame. NH seem to notice he always f up the situation. I hope he be more careful with that guy. Get his men to spy on him more. I throw hands at the emperor many times lol dude make it so easy to manipulate him. He never do his work and blame it all on NH.
Oh, okay, then I'll be waiting for an answer too lol. but recently there are some rebirth dramas. I'm curious why those didn't get banned. IMO I think it will be similar to "The Double." There's no rebirth. but it's because ppl never see her face, or they only see it briefly They probably cut out her married-off storyline and kill her off right away. It's pretty easy because the family rarely sees her real face. She always wore the mask throughout that period; they shit their pants everytime they think it will fall off to the point that they created the special mechanism mask that can't be taken off easily. while her cousin lived in the faraway mountain as her. If after she win the war ,get the title, they'll kill her after she comes back and make her real identity die of illness, then it's over. No one outside the fam saw her face before. the family only see her real face 1-2 time in her life at that piont. even if they realize it's her they can't tell anyone about it because they robbed her titles and lie to the king.
