First of all stop pairing history with this drama just because there's inspiration this Is not the first drama to do so secondly she didn't remember everything and if she knows about the villain why did she keep quiet? She did not know which makes sense because in the history she was telling the king, he committed two purges and she only knew the consort was bad just like the king did but she didn't know her real intention. He never did anything to those women but imprisoned them it was the real king who did this. Also the production team cut the longer ending we know the book took him right we just didn't see the longer part of how he looked for her and am just telling u because many blame the writer but the actor mentioned the longer version was filmed so her webtoon was followed through.
