Well many people thought so and netflix who is known for always falsely advertising their dramas did make it look like its a romcom but imo i liked their chemistry because they had it from the first few eps interaction but i understand u.

That is because it is the main theme, any main romance drama with 12 eps will start from ep 6 or 5 but this isnt a main romance drama but the romance is the subplot of the story in the novel or webtoon it was also very subtle.

Another food drama ( Chinese) will air soon am so hyped because I am a food drama lover this lived up to its name and basically the main plot also the leads got screentime even when it was food related.

The writer didn't lose interest rather the longer ending was filmed but the production team cut that part and made them do a voiceover and he came with the missing page which went back to him after she left but it's just not shown in full picture.

I FINALLY finished BAYM after 7 or 8 days since it aired, i feel like i have so much to say and i have been talking here since it aired and interacted with so many people which i did like but for some it means u are a hardcore fan lol. Anyways what a ride it has been here and watching the drama, i did wish the production company for once in their life will stop painting their writers bad because the longer ending of the drama was filmed why are they so stingy and like cutting down stuff even dramas with 16 eps or longer duration they still cut and its not fair at all,A special ep or sequel or S2 is not a bad thing only if they were not stingy people.
