It was a good series but at the same time too anticlimactic and everything was too safe but I still enjoyed. I just wish they could’ve used sky acting in more ways, he’s one of the best actors but I felt like the story didn’t made him shine, instead it showcased Nani acting and he was sideline..

Dumping bls/gls to romcom and saying that there are not good actors for it when gun, first or namtan are right here and many more wow just wow yeah lets end this conversation cuz you’re not even listening.

Hey, I think you might’ve misunderstood my point. I’m a big Skynani fan, and high school frenemy is one of my favorite series they’re incredibly talented, especially Sky. I’ve been following him since before he joined GMMTV, so I’m familiar with their merch, fan meetings, and all that. I also understand that GMMTV is making good money from them And they’re also putting that money in this show. What I’m trying to say is that they have many popular pairings bringing in a lot of on the table , but that money isn’t really being reinvested into those pairings or into queer focused shows. Instead, it’s going into projects like remake of “scarlet heart”. That’s where my frustration comes from. Take TayNew as an example they’re an established pairing and had a show like peaceful property, which had a solid budget, storyline, and cast. But they chose to make it non queer, even though it featured a BL pairing. At the same time, they’ll put into them into rom coms like cherry magic even when there’s potential for stronger, more meaningful series where the romance could subplot, rather than main focus. So yeah, I can enjoy a show and still point out what feels unfair about how things are being handled.

Me and thee has nowhere quality as this, and once again it was a romcom and ticket to heaven is a coming of age story while i’m excied for it it’s something we have seen hundreds of times in queer media. Why can’t we have something like wu for queer people. They had dare you to death but made it into such cheap story. While straight shows like enigma. F4 are highly quality productions.

All the money from fan meets, merch, selling their bl couples/ship etc are going to “straight series” while they continue to downplay their queer shows. So i’m not going to defend a company making money from their bl audience while giving such huge difference in quality for their so called straight viewers vs bl once.

I’m so freaking excited for this it looks fantastic. As always skynani are great. But once again big finger to gmmtv for having budget, chemistry, storyline and great actors for their straight and bromance shows while their queer shows will always be cheap and just romance centered.

I just binged it and loved every minute of it.

Watching series like this you know gmmtv have budget and great script writers to make a fantastic show. I’m still waiting for them to use this method for their lgbt series. And the thing is that this could’ve been a bl series every element was there but no it’s like they swore to make only romance centered low budget bls.

I just binge watched it, and it could’ve been a solid murder mystery series. But the excessive rom com scenes and cliches ruined it, and it felt like watching two different shows.

By Um, rashta is actually the most complex and interesting character in the whole webtoon, and many new readers are actually liking her more than navier whose character is like the same as so many main characters.

I read this webtoon last month it’s still ongoing by the way and ended up dropping cuz my god i hated the mc navier and end up actually more interested in rashta the villain arc she’s such a complex character. Here hoping that kdrama do her justice which author failed to do.

High & Low is one of the biggest and most beloved Japanese franchises, with multiple spin offs and films, and it’s been running for a decade. The characters are all rivals or enemies, yet viewers love them. The series is filled with rich backstories even for older characters and have crazy stunts because fighting is the maint point of the series and deals with drugs, human trafficking, assault and it isn’t afraid to kill off major characters . Because of that, GMMTV taking on a remake is a huge risk. Because of their over the top humor and simple black and white storytelling, which little to no consequence. But they’ve casted some of their best actors, so I’m both nervous and excited to see what they’ll do with it. P.S. I highly recommend checking out the original Japanese version.

You know from what i’ve seen that gmmtv can make a good supernatural series, they do it all the time with their straight or non romance shows.eg, enigma, midnight museum etc But when it comes to bls they keep recycling same thing cuz they know that audience will eat it up no matter what . I mean their highest budget show was f4 a straight romance and now again upcoming moon lovers is their next big thing . So all the money they earn from low budget bls obviously go to their hetro shows. Anyway i watched 3 eps and i was just bored 😐 i may give it a chance after it’s finished.

I absolutely love that japan and china doesn’t hold back when it comes to toxic yaoi.

One of the best series i have ever watched.
