Pretty sure that was on purpose with the experienced vs inexperienced person. Unlike thailand where actors are used to improvising scenes japan has to strictly follow the director.

Umm, school 2013 was literally written as gay romances but changed into bromance, and at the time people were calling it love scandal even a cast was shipping the two actors, mind you that was 12 years ago.

Enjoyed the first episode, it was so campy.

I can’t recall the last time I watched a Thai BL set in a school because they tend to be extremely boring. However, this show prove that it's possible to create an engaging school BL with a strong script, solid acting, and a genuine chemistry between the boys without relying on tired tropes. Unfortunately, they chose to make them feel so mediocre. I wanted“the eclipse” to be like this but unfortunately they put romance at center with every cliche possible while the plot was just lost.

The original one was written as bl but changed into bromance well because korea🙄 even the actors said they felts like they were acting a love story.

I don’t care what people say but I’m loving the friendship between rei and kai so much more than the thai version, it’s so playful and teasing.

The last scene was so good and i can totally understand all three sides, the mom who has every right to be angry, and shin who’s hurt is justified and saint who is so guilt ridden and still hasn’t forgiven himself.

Yesss, we’re getting a chair scene next week, so happy they didn’t skip it.
