I absolutely love this show! As a fan of the original, I’m thrilled they didn’t ruin it but instead expanded the story. The bromance is still amazing, just like in the original. Although there are some differences in the main characters' mannerisms like Shin in the K-version, who was always angry but had a smirk, and was little more cruel with his words or Saint, who seemed aimless and detached, almost like he was just drifting through life. I also really enjoy the new twists they’re adding to the story, especially with the rivalries.

Well, maybe i’ve been watching japan media for so long, cuz i see him as sassy and confident in a few scenes we’ve gotten of him, but in a very quite way, but at the same time visibly more nervous than thai version. If you can’t see that’s your take. and as i said many will disagree but that’s how i see it.

I really love how playful kai and rei friendship is compared to thai version. And i know many will disagree but i like how kai is shown confident, sassy(not in thai loud way) and a hint of nervousness around him.

Having dropped the first half of "Lita" because it felt cringeworthy and only skimmed the second part, because the story and characters were more interesting. I actually enjoyed ep 1 of new version. It perfectly captures the cute yet gritty Japanese aesthetic, with good soundtrack, lighting, and subtlety while avoiding filler and staying focused on the core story. I’m eager to see how they develop the second couple. Regarding the adult scenes, i don’t know how they’ll portray them, but I’ve heard people claim that Japan can’t match Thailand’s approach to intimacy. Personally, I think when Japan chooses to show sex scenes, they can reach levels that Thailand can only dream of. And i mean it like they don’t left anything for imagination.

I really liked this drama but i have say that rawness of the novel mv was missing. And I feel like there was definitely favoritism towards the side couple. And writers wanted it that way.

Oh, yes i agree about everything and how beautifully author portrayed everything, so far i think live action is doing a great job. About the romance i meant it as not the main focus or between the leads.

This has never been promoted as romance but as a lgbt youth story, it also doesn’t have tag of romance in it. And the manga summary is being them friends. So i don’t consider it as a spoiler but I’m sorry if I ruined it for you.

It has bittersweet ending for one of the protagonist. Keep in mind this is a decade old manga, so we can’t be sure if it’ll be same as the manga.

This is one of my favorite manga. It’s a beautiful, dark and tragic story. For those looking for a romance, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed as main leads are only friends but their bond is beautiful.

Yess, i want them to go full on toxicity because that’s i saw these characters.

One thing i’ve seen thai bl do is that they tone down characters like eg my stand in and meet you at the blossom are by same author but one made by china was true to cannon while the former adapted by thailand was so much lighter.
