I just binged it and loved every minute of it.

Watching series like this you know gmmtv have budget and great script writers to make a fantastic show. I’m still waiting for them to use this method for their lgbt series. And the thing is that this could’ve been a bl series every element was there but no it’s like they swore to make only romance centered low budget bls.

I just binge watched it, and it could’ve been a solid murder mystery series. But the excessive rom com scenes and cliches ruined it, and it felt like watching two different shows.

By Um, rashta is actually the most complex and interesting character in the whole webtoon, and many new readers are actually liking her more than navier whose character is like the same as so many main characters.

I read this webtoon last month it’s still ongoing by the way and ended up dropping cuz my god i hated the mc navier and end up actually more interested in rashta the villain arc she’s such a complex character. Here hoping that kdrama do her justice which author failed to do.

Agree about them making a really good no bl series so i’m excited and terrified of this.

High & Low is one of the biggest and most beloved Japanese franchises, with multiple spin offs and films, and it’s been running for a decade. The characters are all rivals or enemies, yet viewers love them. The series is filled with rich backstories even for older characters and have crazy stunts because fighting is the maint point of the series and deals with drugs, human trafficking, assault and it isn’t afraid to kill off major characters . Because of that, GMMTV taking on a remake is a huge risk. Because of their over the top humor and simple black and white storytelling, which little to no consequence. But they’ve casted some of their best actors, so I’m both nervous and excited to see what they’ll do with it. P.S. I highly recommend checking out the original Japanese version.

You know from what i’ve seen that gmmtv can make a good supernatural series, they do it all the time with their straight or non romance shows.eg, enigma, midnight museum etc But when it comes to bls they keep recycling same thing cuz they know that audience will eat it up no matter what . I mean their highest budget show was f4 a straight romance and now again upcoming moon lovers is their next big thing . So all the money they earn from low budget bls obviously go to their hetro shows. Anyway i watched 3 eps and i was just bored 😐 i may give it a chance after it’s finished.

I absolutely love that japan and china doesn’t hold back when it comes to toxic yaoi.

Yes, China, please keep producing these BL series I’m loving them! Also i’m always here for manly bottom and pretty top. No offense to other countries BL productions (which I also enjoy), but China will always be my favorite. Censored or or not. And I keep seeing people talk about how this show had a huge budget, but honestly, it seems pretty average if you're familiar with the high budget standards of Chinese dramas. For comparison, for thai bl something like The Next Prince a high budget BL, yet its budget matches this one which, by Chinese standards, isn't considered big at all. Anyway, I’m excited and ready for the upcoming episodes

I’m sorry but it’s just not my vibe, it was giving very typical uke-seme vibe and that’s just not my thing. And main character high pitched baby voice was getting on my nerves.
