He knows she is that gifted kid that he met. Maybe he has some special fondness for her the kid so he will be caring about the adult version of her. But I really wish they do not put a romance in this. It would be sad if she remembers him and her character softens. It's better if she remains scheming and headstrong.
There is no romance tag and I think the lead couple will work better with no romance. So far if there is romance I would see the FL and the SML together if the character does not become a bad guy or a loser but teams up with them.
Interesting first ep with a solid set up for the two leads. Their difference of personality and oppposite sense of empathy will make them an explosive pair.
