I think she did that to show that her bf is JH and she cheated on him with KP and not SS so no bad rumor will hit SS. She needed that to help SS but she did not need it to break up with JH. But your assumption might be right. She would kill two birds with one stone.

For me Sang Su loves Soo Young. Despite all the crap she served to him and the time passed, he still has this unreasonable fondness and attraction for her. I would even say he loves her blindly because she is no good for him.

Soo young likes Sang Su but she does not love him. She refuses to honestly face her feelings and act accordingly. She can't get rid of her fear, her hesitation and take the risk to go to Sang Su no matter what will happen. It is not love without the act of courage to commit oneself.

Su Young is self centered. She lives in an ivory tower. She acts on her own understanding only. Since the begining it led her to make wrong choices that she thinks are the best choice but it only makes things worse. That plan with Kyung Pil was lame.

These kind of people are unfathomable and they make things more difficult thinking they had to do it.

Mi Kyung is pathetic but it means she has a weak side behind her scheming selffish side. She is more readable than Soo Young. If she was more mature, she would be able to make Sang Su fall in love with her.

I think she did that to force her bf to come out as her partner for everyone in the bank to know and to plant the idea that she cheated on her bf with Kang Pil and not Sang Su. This way nobody will link Sang Soo to her. It is still a lame move to do for me.

Kyung Pil did broke up with the SFL for some reason which belongs to him. He could not have made up that he slept with her friends because they are her friends. She would have double checked with them. True or not it was still his choice.

For me, she did it to make her bf come out as her bf in front of all the employees so they know she has a bf and she is not involved in any way with the bf of Mi Kyung and the prospect of the Park Group. It will clarify the situation publicly but it will also block Sang Su from going to Soo Young because she officially has a bf now.

The rumor that she slept with KP will clarify the situation.

The only reason I see for Soo Young to spread the rumour she slept with Kyung Pil is to make her bf jealous and come out as her partner in front of everyone in the bank so it will cut down the rumor that she is meddling with ML aka SFL's boyfriend aka Park Group's prospect even before it starts.

I like the SFL. She is pathetic and more and more crazy threatening people now but I believe she will get away from that mess in time. JH can go to hell.

It makes no sense to spread a rumor that she and Kyung Pil slept together. There is no relationship between the leads to be revealed. Nobody knows they kissed and SFL only knows her bf has feelings for another woman. It is not a crime. This is not enough to take such a risk of pretending to be a slut cheating on her bf. It will not save the ML from anything because he is not at risk.

The only reason Soo Young would do that is to force her bf to come out as her partner because he wanted to hide it to the other employees of the bank all this time. This way she pulls the rug under the possible rumor that she is meddling with the ML.

I hated Sang Su's lack of courage in the beginning. I agree he improved on that aspect and he will stick at his true feelings now even if he might not win the FL in the end.

I don't think Jong Hyun is the first guy she slept with... She seems to be very down to earth regarding sex.

I take the novel and the drama for two different works. I don't think Soo Young slept with Hyung Pil. They have nothing together that would lead them to do that. It would be nonsensical for them to spread the rumor that they slept together. It is too risky for a gain which is not guaranteed and not even defined.

Only the FL is complicated. The other three leads are quite clear on what they want.
