I suspect SFL and SML always had these bad sides in them.
I remember the ex schoolmate saying to Sang Su that Kyung Pil was Mi Kyung first love and she became mad when he cheated on her. If think the way she behaves now is coherent with how she reacted back then. She does not want to loose again what she managed to obtain. So she is desperately scheming (since she is smarter now) to avoid a break up. I will not be surprised if she starts to do some crazy things.
SML looks more and more like a kid who wanted to woo a pretty noona for the enjoyment of the game and he won the lottery when she chose him. But she was wrong as she rushed her choice after seeing his nice side only. He was always that not focused student, unable to make proper decisions when facing difficulties, lacking maturity and enjoying his time as student. SML blinded the FL with nice attention and nice promises but deep inside he was always that lacking guy with low self esteem. I am not surprised to see him like that.
I hope they will change to become better after admitting the truth and moving on.

I would not call him a friend. There is nothing friendly in what he does. He is playing mind games and manipulating Sang Su. The guy has his own agenda so Sang Su should be wise to not trust him. The guy has something that makes him ahead of all of them and he is toying with them.

I think Sang Soo wanted to keep trying with Mi Kyung during that whole year. He felt their relationship was not perfect but still it was a comfortable routine. But after the funeral and the trip at the seashore, he and Soo Yang started to tease each other to meet casually. Then they kissed and that was the point of no return for him.
Mi Kyung is seeing that the small missing percentage is going to be the end to her relationship with ML. She is loosing her cool and bright side and that's sad for her. I fear she will do even worse as from now.
