It is not really entertaining but I have to say it is intriguing enough to keep me curious. What kind of secrets FL learnt during all this time living like a errand maid about all these people that now that her life is fucked up she want to mess with all of them.

FL did not like the ML enough to run after him, to accept his hesitation which meant nothing since he went back to find her. Instead she hurt him. When she lied she was dating SML, that was the beginning of the end. It is not something to say to someone you like. Because true or false, it means "it is game over for you".
Then she said to him that she did not like him and answered an question with another question. She said to him things would not have worked. And finally she found a good excuse for herself and gave up on her good feeling towards ML out of self-pity. Did he not say he loves her? Why she did not give them time to talk it out and patch things? You do that if you really like someone.
No she went straight to date another man. Does she not know what it means for a man when the woman he loves goes to date another man right in his face? The excruciating pain that he feels? She did not care about it. Because her happiness with the SML comes first. What ML can feel or not is not their problem.

I still don't think it is a matter of status or level or class. ML and FL were already smitten by each other. ML had a special attention for her and giving glimpses to her. Something she noticed and welcomed without feeling uncomfortable. She did not have any issue with it since she had a liking for him. This is why she accepted to go to the movies with him and to meet again.
Her status, her education, background, position in the bank, career prospects, her colleagues looking down on her or making things difficult for her, his status and situation, these were no problem at all. If class, level or status were an obstacle, they would not have gone that far. They would have thought "ok he/she is not in my league. Forget about it." They tried their chance because it was not a problem for them. They expected to meet and date and become each/other partner.
Their attempt failed because FL made a huge thing of something she did not even know for sure. She interpreted his action and gave it the meaning she wanted so she can drop him. Status, level or class were not a problem before. Why they would be one now? ML hesitated but he brushed the idea aside logically considering that he was already in the process to pursue her. ML on the contrary was not logical with what she already did. She acted on a whim to cancel him. Why?
Because she had two suitors and loosing one she did not feel so comfortable around was not a problem when there is another guy she does feel comfotable and happy around. If she did not have a spare, she would not have been so mean and harsh with ML while rejecting his feelings. She would have calmed herself, listened to his explaination, remembered she wanted to date him and she would have said "Ok, I am glad you came back for me. I am glad you are confident to date me". Instead she decided to kill the good feelings she had towards him and take her other option.
She went to the other guy because deep down she felt better with him. Something that people in real life would do in the same situation. She looked very happy dating him.
