It is historical fact that old emperors had very young wives but the way they romanticize it and make a young maid fall in love with an old man and pregnant by him is disgusting. The latest eps have made the drama looses it's main quality aka the interaction between the two leads in the main plot. The new plots a quite annoying for me. But still, will go to the end of the drama. Fingers crossed it will not be a bloodbath.
So ML gets the job done, FL is free and will be healed, SFL keeps her rank and honor, Bad guy meets his fate, SML becomes an heir... maybe it's better to stop here?

Probably he was a bad guy before meeting FL. He was in a struggle with his bro this is why the bro imprisonned him. He let himself appear like a nice perfect guy to make her fall for him. After she was taken away from him, he became obsessed and that did not help his brutal nature. He really likes grabbing women by the throat.
Catched up with ep21. This drama has the flaw of most historical cdrama : too many characters explaining to other characters what happened, what is happening and what will happen. But the story is compelling with an endearing lead couple. Waiting for the next eps.
