He put FL in front of the house of her biological mom. Still she was ignored and she came back to him. So probably that made him understand that there is no need to look for his biological dad. His dad is the one who raised him.

I am on ep3 and the show is fun to watch but I still do not understand why in his situation, he made her situation his own business...? It is not even like he needs her for something.

There is a reason: propaganda to brainwash viewers into accepting that life is not about living and being happy. But it is about dying while being dutiful..

I hoped for a bigger part for him...

Kill Me Love me is pretty good until the main plot is resolved. After that everything goes downhill and the rating takes a dive from 8..5 to 8.0. This one is enjoyable. Slice of life historical drama fight some good swordfights.

Generally I consider a drama/movie and the book it is based on, as two different works. The drama/movie has differences wanted by the writer and director to convey a vision, create emotions and promote ideas. I do not want to "correct" this by checking in the book what is different and what is not.

For me, the writer and director in this drama wanted to end the drama by promoting the value of being dutiful to your country as a military by dying for it and to your spouse as a wife/widow by waiting for him. That was unnecessary. It should have ended after the wedding.

At face value, there is nothing in the ending scenes that shows that they reunite. If a fact is not there, it is always possible to say it could be there. But it still is not there. But ok, people can think of it the way they want.

Cmon, He has been grabbing women by the throat several times to impose them something. And he appears unannounced to do his dirty tricks. Is not that bullying? What kind of man does that?

You are finding him excuses but the reality of his nature is blatant. He is a brute and a ruthless gangster who killed his accomplice to frame the lover of the woman he is obessed with . Ok, I guess serial killers have their own circumstances too.

For me it's no because she does not smile. She even looks rather sad.

it's a 6 minutes episode and they break the 4th wall. Typically done for fan service..

If people can judge by themselves, why a spoiler tag is needed? I consider this a shitty ending but if others think it is a happy ending, good for them. It's only exchanging opinions.

I agree that people see the ending their own way but for me, when they plant the tree, it is 1.5 meters high. Then she takes care of it and it is 2 and 3 meters high. Meaning her husband has been at war for almost 2 years. Then there is no war scenes anymore and she goes to visit the tree, it is almost 7 or 8 meters high. So it means 5 or 6 years after the war, her husband is still not back. For me, him riding his horse from a ravine is fantasy and a wishful thinking from her. We do not see them reunite at all. Because they do not. We do not see a smile on her face. She would be smiling if her man was really here. She is just emotionless.
