Considering the visuals, genre, influences, the plot line and events so far, I have admitted that this might not be the usual historical kdrama with a happy ending. I agree with you that there are elements that are too dark and too morally unjustifiable to consider a happy ever after ending. So far the comedy is fun and the action is thrilling but there are dark elements that cannot be ignored.

But I also trust the writers to find a proper outcome and answers to the question raised by what they presented. As long as it is entertaining, logical and not convoluted and not outrageous like in some cdramas (she kills herself or impale herself on his sword for some stupid reason) I am ready for any ending.

Being worthy or not worthy here is based on your own standards. So maybe your standards are the problem? Because most people here and elsewhere like this drama including its dialogues.

If your standards are with Liberartion Notes, comparing a fun historical fantasy kdrama with a kdrama full of melodrama and people philosophizing on their own misery and lack of happiness will only lead you to dislike it.

There is no philosophy or lesson about life and finding happiness here. So maybe it is better for you not torture yourself more. There are surely other dramas which will fit your taste better.

Top airing kdrama on MDL now... Good!

There are some drama which, for some reasons, just don't work for you. I tried What's wrong with secretary Kim three times because I liked the lead actors but no, never managed to pass ep 4 or 5.

Hotel del Luna, it's best parts are the personality of the FL and the sub plots/the sub stories. The main plot involving the main leads is rather messy (on FL side) and a bit bland (on ML side). Overall it is still enjoyable.

Of the Hong sisters's fantasy drama I liked My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and The Master's sun better. Hope this one will topple all of them.

In Woori the Virgin, the cop just hides evidence and breaks into a house at night to look for evidences. In Link: Eat love kill, a cop just assaults and beats up and threatens a civilian who is a "rotten apple" and gets away with it...

Maybe it is a trend to show that violence and illegal actions by the police is totally acceptable?

If you have not seen them yet:

- From now on, Showtime is really entertaining and fun.
- My liberation Notes is good but it is special. Either you like it or you hate it.
- Sh**ting star has good feedbacks. Personally I dropped it but you can give it a try.
- Kiss Sith Sense ends airing today. Despite a dip of quality in ep 7-8, it is rather enjoyable. Last verdict tonight.

On the contrary I think the pace is good. In 4 eps, many things happened to the main couple and it has mysteries about their origin and some characters that makes things intriguing. I regret the 3 others seasons apart from Winter, they are less "sparkling" but the story still has many eps to develop them.

This drama is special and I have rarely seen an historical fantasy kdrama like this one with such its peculiar universe. Maybe it is just not your cup of tea.

30 eps, 2 seasons... it is a lot. I fear for the destiny of some characters.

Something romantic is developping between them. Now they are two characters supporting Jang Uk and with all the remaining eps, I kind of fear for them. Fingers crossed nothing bad happens.

I meant the police which failed to find the little girl when apparently plenty of people where there including our stalker. The police officer who found the wrong culprit and still thinks the guy is the culprit threatening him in the street. The rookie cop beating and threatening a civilian and his colleague covering his crime. They don't look like good servants of the Law ...

In the early eps when the piano teacher/homeless man was caught peeing in the street by the police patrol, the man looked at the rookie cop and had a very strange and weird reaction.

People quickly made the hypothesis he was his son.

It surprised me too but I just make the assumption Gye Hoon told him everything since "shit happened" and Jin Hoo witnessed it so he needed some explanation.

I don't like Won Tak either. He does nto trust th eLaw while making himself an agent of the Law and doing things that are legally crimes, battery and he even threatens civilians. I really am confused regarding this guy. I get that things have not been easy for him but still...

The identity of the rookie cop was pretty clear since the beginning. What surprises me is his reaction. Like they are his buddies...

The police so far is kind of a joke...

I thought there was a little too much "exposition" in some episodes but ep7 -8 took the pace at a much better level. The story is developping faster, a little bit too fast maybe but it means we can expect more surprises in the second half of the drama.

Never believed she was his sister...

EP8 was good. The pace is going steady now with a lot of revelations regarding the fake sister and the four of them of course it was expected from ep7. The showdown was a little bit too much because I felt it did not have to happen so soon. Now what they gonna do for 8 eps? Will they be able to keep that pace? At least it is more and more intriguing...

I don't mind if it is bad people or people who did wrong to her it is understandable. But a poor innocent ant... OK, waitong to see more about it...
